• Save the World... from your couch! - 23 May 2024

  StarCouch brings ChronoDojo to your couch! We so love playing and developing games for and from our couch! So naturally, we had to pick up a Steam Deck for ourselves and play ChronoDojo all over again! While we're happy to say that it feels right at home on the deck, along the way we noticed many little tweaks, minor issues and opportunities for improvement. So!   HELLO HEROES, NEAR AND FAR We grow ever closer to ChronoDojo's launch! Woo-hoo! Let's spotlight a way to all sit on the same virtual couch together and play ChronoDojo: Remote Play Together! FEATURE SPOTLIGHT: REMOTE PLAY TOGETHER The only thing better than saving the world from eeeevil using your Chrono-Fu skills... is teaming up and playing hero with all of your friends! But what if you can't all get together on the same couch to enjoy the cozy co-op fun? Thanks to Steam's Remote Play Together feature, now you can! (well, virtually at least...) Unfamiliar with RPT? It's easy! Simply launch the ChronoDojo Demo, Shift-Tab (or Alt-Tab) to your friends list, and invite anyone to play! FEATURE SPOTLIGHT: MINI-GAMES Do you need a quick break from saving the world from evil? Are you feeling the urge to fight your own friends for fun? It's time to take an intermission from your heroic mission with multiple mini-games! Step into the Eat No Eat carnival tent in the parking lot of the mall to face waves of edible "EATS" (yummy street & junk food) and inedible "NO EATS" (cute critters that look very similar to EATS, but bite back!). Whoever chomps the most EATS wins! Board the pirate's treasure ship to plunder their cargo! Haul huge treasures to your hero-specific chest while deftly dodging cannonballs, pesky pirates, and your own 'friends' (who can pilfer your prizes right out of your hands!) Whoever hoards…

  HEY THERE, HUMBLE HEROES! Another marvelous month has passed as we polish, playtest and punch bugs in prep for launching ChronoDojo next year! As this year nears an end, we'd love to spotlight some adorably fun features: Pets & Egg Defense! FEATURE SPOTLIGHT: PETS & EGG DEFENSE Meet a fellow hero and time-traveler- "Tender, the Time-traveling Naturalist!" Her monumental mission is to locate and save super-special species the moment before they go extinct! She'll mark on your world maps (including previous worlds you've saved) with newly-located eggs. You'll then need to bash, build and defend the Dojo all over again on those levels, but this time- you must also protect the fragile friendly egg from being fractured by the forces evil! If you can save both the enormous egg and the Dojo, Tender will reward you by hatching it into a loyal, powerful pet that will follow you into future battl…

  Soon after defeating Channel Omega and saving the 80's Sunset Plaza Mall, the ChronoDojo whisks our humble heroes away to the next world and time... and Sensei teaches them their unique ChronoPowers! ChronoPowers are ultimate hero abilities that both spawn a powerful ChronoPower Tower (unique to each hero) and chrono-boosts your hero to turbo-bash baddies and move at manic speeds! Join us!
