- Update and release on Android - 10 October 2022
Two years after the release of arcade debut, Vectro Blast, the developers from Sagittaras Games are coming out with a series of updates. They promise not only more modern visuals, but also a change in game mechanics, a new soundtrack and most importantly, a port to Android for mobile gamers. You can look forward to a new look of enemies, plenty of options for upgrading your ship and weapons, and of course hours and hours of fun. Your mission is just to survive and reach the highest score as possible you can and become a legend on our leaderboard. At the end of each mission, a final boss will awaits you to test your skills. - Customize the game controls - 17 December 2020
Starting today, we will be releasing a series of regular updates for our game. Due to a Holiday season, this update doesn’t contain a lot of changes. The rest of the updates will be coming in monthly intervals and you’ll be getting more new features, or fixes. Controls change Controls are now customizable, and you can also choose from a couple of new ways to control your game. You can now switch between the guns in one direction, up or down. This setting is linked to the back/forward buttons on your mouse by default. This means you can change your weapons with your mouse on the fly, if you have those buttons. Unfortunately, the option to control your game with a gamepad has not been finished yet. We’re hoping to bring you this feature in the next updates! - Elite Enemies - 14 December 2020
Things are more interesting when they get complicated, right? We think the same! An Infinite amount of regular enemies is just boring… So why not more. Each 10th wave, regardless of the current battle situation, an elite enemy is spawned. The enemy excels with tough defense and strong unique offense system. Elite enemies are the real challenge for you. You will get a great reward for beating each one of them. Decent amount of ammo, more upgrade tokens and higher change for heal token, than from regular enemies. If there are more enemies in the battlefield, they get killed along with the elite. - Know your Weapons - 29 November 2020
On your long way for your master score you will definitely want to use your weapon arsenal efficiently. To figure out which weapon to use in different situations can be quite a challenge. You can switch between 3 weapons and all of them are available for you right from the beginning. However now the tricky part: weapon 2 and 3 have limited ammo. You will find ammo either from each elite which spawns each 10 waves or if you will be very lucky it can also drop from classic enemies. Machine Gun The only weapon you can use as much as you want. It has unlimited ammo and keeps firing in the direction where your cursor is currently moving. Upgrading the Machine Gun will increase its damage and attack speed. The game is out for a week now, but we are still trying to get you news about what is up next. What we will improve Mouse and keyboard, not enough? Not everyone likes to play with a mouse and keyboard, especially fans of our genre. So prepare your gamepads, because Vectro Blast will soon support gamepad devices (including menu moving). Localization We also want to think about players from our country. So we plan to add czech language option in the future. - Meet your Enemies - 22 November 2020
Vectro Blast world is simple and minimalistic. Enemies might look simple as well, but they are not! You will face six different enemy types. Each one has a unique look as well as a unique playstyle. Roamers Roamer enemy types do not actually care about you… They just move around the map in a greater amount. They are round and red. Circloids move in a circle again and again… Is that all? Well, Circloids can also change the direction of the way, which they are currently facing. Remember, when we said, that Roamer enemy types don’t care about you? Well these Diamonds are your big fans! They will fly straight to you and you can be sure they want your autograph. Seeking Diamonds come from the portal and in a group. They are very familiar with kamikaze tactics. Blue squares, which move from one map’s edge to another… They also like copy/paste tricks.. If you will not kill them when they spawn…

Get yourself some energy drinks and make your keyboard ready. Go back to the days, where there was only one job in games: Get the best score possible! Vectro Blast is an old school arcade game, extended with features for upgrading your ship. Your leaderboard’s position will be frequently changing, because of the player’s competition. For the best way to dominate the online ladder, you should keep collecting upgrade tokens as much as possible and keep upgrading ship’s attributes. This release is of course just a start of our adventure. We cannot wait for your feedback, so we will better know what should be changed or added into the game with further patches.
