• May Bi-Weekly Update 05-15-21 - 16 May 2021

  Hey all, I've been working on a bigger update this time so it's taking a little longer than usual. My new plan is to have two larger updates each month. This first update is going to have a looooot more animations and a couple new "obstacles" added to dungeons. I'm looking into the issues with the castle dungeon and hope to have a fix out with this update. I'm aiming to have this roll out on the 17th, with the next update coming the 31st. Toodles! -Joel

• Patch 4-26-2021 - 27 April 2021

  Hey All, Sorry I wasn't able to put out any patches last week. Here's one to start the week off right though! - Armor skills now properly gain XP while being worn and used in combat. (Further balancing may be needed) - Additional crab animations - Additional ghoul animations. - Additional werewolf animations. I should have another patch coming this weekend with more changes, additions and balances! -joel

  Hi All, Today's patch fixes a couple things brought to my attention by players. Fixes: - Eldritch Traits Bound by Blood and Eternal Endurance now correctly add a permanent bonus to their respective stats. - Underground Castle Dungeon no longer spawns player into the abyss of darkness. - Player inventory now has full controller support. - Minor UI fixes.   Greetings All, Today I have another small patch for you. Below you can find a list of what has changed. I'm working hard to try and get the bugs squashed so I can move on to the fun part... MORE CONTENT! Thank you all for reporting bugs and making suggestions! Changes: - Run Speed has been increased. - Rate of EXP gain for Athletics has been greatly increased. - Stamina regeneration rate has been increased. - Iron Sword hand glitch has been improved. (Will require further investigation). - Vesos are now tracked correctly on the Player Inventory screen. - Some prices of merchant goods has been increased. - HUD bars now correctly display player stats (health, majika, stamina, armor). - Experience bars now show visual progress of character level gains. - Zombies have new attack animations. - New mouse cursor. • Small Patch - 11 April 2021

  Hey all, So I just put out the first patch. Below is a quick break down of what to expect. -"Start Game" can now be triggered by controller. - Options menu now has controller support. - Option to invert controller "look" can be toggled under "Controls" menu. - Player walk & run speed has been increased. • Release Date: Thursday, April 8th - 7 April 2021

  Hi all, So we got approval from Steam over the weekend and will be opening Early Access on April 8th! This will be Phase One of Early Access. The main focus of this phase is to balance the game and build on core mechanics. Phase Two will introduce the first chapter of the story line. Phase Three is to implement multiplayer. Phase Four is official release as Version 1. More details to come! For now I need to get back to work. See you Thursday! -Joel

• February Development Update - 2 March 2021

  Hello all! Development on Hyforge had run into a brick wall back in November due to some serious bugs. I'm pleased to say that these bugs have been squashed and that development is back on track. I need to apologize for the long delay. I was so excited to get Hyforge released that when the bugs reared their faces it really hit hard. I took some time during the holidays to form a plan for going forward and I'm pleased to say that it has been working out! For the past month I've been able to focus on building new spells, weapons, and NPCs into the game. I've also been balancing stats, experience, and persistent bonuses known as Eldritch Traits. In the coming weeks I will be implementing Steam Achievements and Trading Cards and then submitting for final approval. As of now we're looking at March 31 for the Hyforge Early Access release.
