• Version 1.7.0: Big update with multiple new things! - 16 March 2023

  Hello Minesweeper fans, I got a lot of nice things here for you, thanks for feedback and suggestion ;) Custom color palettes; create your own colors, and share or copy from others! More music has been added to the game! Added multiple sound effect variation, I know some of you don't like the default sounds, now you can try out a few different ones. 3 New Classy levels! Added a credits screen, where you also can find the music list. Some minor bug fixes.

• November 9. Update: V-Sync and FPS settings - 9 November 2022

  Added settings to toggle on/off V-Sync Added settings to set FPS Uncapped/240/60 * Please note VSync will most likely force your FPS to your monitor refresh rate and override FPS setting. Default is VSync on and FPS uncapped, which should be ideal for most. These change the Unity engine run settings, so I don't know exactely how it will work with all kinds of devices and configurations. Let me know if you have issues.

• November 4. Update: Leaderboards - 4 November 2022

  I have now finally added leaderboards to the game. After having recently done it with my other game ICEwall, I figured I might as well add it to Minesweeper too, as some people like to play it competetively. It is also a fun way to see how many people are actively playing, as actually quite a few people do play this game, thank you all for that! The leaderboards is for the classic levels: Beginner, Intermediate, Expert and Expert Large. I also did a small design update on some of the menus to make them look a bit nicer. Unfortunately the leaderboard feature doesn't work retroactively, meaning your old high scores will not be added to the leaderboards, only new scores going forward. This means you might end up with having a better local highscore, compared to your leaderboard score, if your best is older.

  Hello again Minesweeper fans! Today I got a huge update for you: Steam CLOUD SAVE enabled, works fine with your old save data. Added DARK MODE, enable in color select. Added classic COLORED NUMBERS, enable it in color select. 9 More Classy levels! Added a new Black and White color palette. Update to menu layouts, 50% more Classy. Fixed issue with Escape going out of games, fixed some other minor issues. Split Audio settings into Music and Ambience in addition to Sound. Now possible to reset Classic scores from settings. Thanks for all the feedback, it has led to a lot of cool new additions I didn't think about before reading about the suggestions and wanted improvements! • October 2 Update - 2 October 2021

  Updated Menus and remade main menu, better level selection, the game is even more classy now! Added two more Classy levels. Added Expert Large Classic level, maximum board size and tons of mines! Added game stats for Classic levels: Number of games played, number of wins and win%. Quality of life improvement: if you lose I now reveal if you have flagged the wrong square.   Added 3 new levels! Levels 32-34. Added mouse middle mouse button/mouse wheel for number click (chording). Added setting to make gameplay animation instant. Added setting to hide game timer. Added setting to enable/disable ?flags (off by default). Fixed bug with windowed mode/fullscreen mode toggle keeping wrong aspect ratio. Fixed scroll wheel sensitivity and text in How to Play page. • December 23. Update - 23 December 2020

  Window-mode: you can now toggle between window/fullscreen mode (upper right corner). Volume adjustments: you can now set sound/music to 50%, 100% on or off (just toggle the sound/music buttons). Question-marks: you can now mark boxes with ?-flag, if you want to add flags to "maybe-mines" or unsolved boxes, use it as you like. Updated to 3 hints per play instead of 1, to better work with those levels with multiple 50/50s. Fixed bug where best time from previous level was sometimes shown.
