• Toast Defense Aesthetic Pack DLC! - 13 October 2021

  In conjunction with the massive Toast Defense Update, I also have another surprise: the first-ever Toast Defense DLC! This DLC contains only skins and will not affect gameplay at all, as Toast Defense is a free game and I intend to keep all gameplay in Toast Defense free. This DLC contains different skins for the grass, dirt paths, and ducks! Check out the DLC store page to see what all is included! Any skin that I will ever release in the future will be added to this DLC, there will not be another Aesthetic DLC Pack. Enjoy the skins!

• Toast Defense Mega Update! - 13 October 2021

  It's been a while since there was a Toast Defense update so I wanted to make this one a good one! A lot of people have been asking for more content and some changes to the content available and so I figured I would change it all at once. The UI has always felt clunky to use in Toast Defense so I have updated how it works, I removed the shop and put in an info tab in its place, and to place towers you now just have to click the tower in the build menu instead of clicking on the shop, closing it, selecting the tower, etc. I have also improved the path creation system, you can now click one button to clear your path entirely instead of backtracking through 30 path tiles to change it. I have also implemented a preset path system! Members of the community have submitted paths to be featured in the game! You can select one of those paths or make and save your own for future use! • Egghead Interactive will be participating in the upcoming Steam Next Fest - 20 April 2021

  The Steam Next Fest is a celebration of upcoming games, and Egghead Interactive will be participating in this festival with our new upcoming game: Seafarers! Seafarers is a pirate-themed trading game where you sail around the world recruiting people to your crew and trading everything from wheat to gold, as you build your merchant empire. The Seafarers demo will be on display during the Steam Next Fest, and I will aim to Livestream during the event as well. Seafarers will aim to be released at the end of summer but I will update it if it changes, and Seafarers will also be Egghead Interactive's first paid game. I know it has been a while since toast defense has gotten an update and that has been because of Seafarers as the game is marginally bigger than Toast Defense. • End of the Snow Update Theme - 2 March 2021

  The snow in Toast Defense has thawed! This means going back to the normal grass, the removal of the Santa hats, and the return of Oscar the fish! I have also updated the look for the 4x speed button as it was the same as the 2x speed button previously. • Small Bug Fixes and Balance Changes - 29 January 2021

  Hey Guys! This update deals with some minor bug fixes and the much-needed buff to the honey and hot sauce improvements. This update has taken a bit longer than expected, I was trying to find and fix the bug where ducks fly away immediately on game start but I cannot find any way to replicate this bug and have tried numerous fixes but unfortunately cannot find a fix. I am still working on finding the cause of this bug but I thought it would be unfair to push back the update any longer. Changelog: - Fixed Sniper Tower Bug where it would aim at the highest health enemy even outside of its own range - Fixed Sniper Tower Bug where the build menu would improperly display the number of towers available - Increased the attack speed of the Sniper Tower - Changed the Honey and Hot Sauce from affecting 10 ducks before going away to affecting 30% of the ducks on that wave before going away

• Endless Mode and A New Tower! - 11 December 2020

  Toast Defense's Second Update is now Live! This update differs from the last one as this is the first content update for the game! Endless mode is now in the game, face off against ever-increasing waves of ducks coming after your toast and see how long you can last! To help you in this endeavor is the new Water Sniper and a new 4x speed feature. The Water Sniper shoots slowly but packs a big punch, and targets the enemy with the highest health in its range, perfect for picking off pesky Boss ducks that slip through your defenses. • Toast Defense Winter Update! - 1 December 2020

  Toast Defense's first update is now live! Small quality of life changes and some bug fixes are the theme of this update. Some small content was added in the form of an official leaderboard for the most ducks shooed on the main menu, and snow throughout the game! Hopefully these changes make game play a little smoother and more enjoyable all around, let me know what you guys think! • Toast Defense is Available for Download! - 23 November 2020

  @everyone Fortunately the game was able to be released not too long after its intended release date after having been delayed. I plan on working on a few updates to the game in the coming weeks before I start work on the next game, but will make more changes after that if needed. • Game Delay Due to Steam Submission Process Oversight - 20 November 2020

  I am very sorry to announce that the game will likely be unable to release today as intended. Due to a mistake on my part when submitting the game for review, the game will likely be delayed by 2-5 business days, but could potentially be delayed further if there are any problems in the reviewing process. The new intended release date is December 4th, but if everything goes smoothly and I am able, I will try and release the game before then. For future games I will allot more time at the end of development to make sure a situation like this does not happen, and I will be more careful with my intended release dates in future projects as well. - Egghead Interactive
