- Special Guest NPC! 1.0.1.15 Patch Notes - 23 November 2024
This is a bit of a special update. We're proud to announce that the one and only Trihex has been added to the game as a special guest NPC in world 4! You can find him hanging around the room with the speedrunning marathon; consider talking to him for some advice if you need it! Also, another bug related to Thorn's roll has been fixed (seriously, there was another one). There was a very precise location in world 2 (and perhaps other similar locations) where rolling to a wall could soft lock the player. This has been addressed, and should no longer happen.

Fixes another crash connected to Thorn's rolling attack. (Getting hit by a car at the end of your roll with 1 hp would crash the game, but not anymore).

Due to an oversight while troubleshooting the previous world 6 bug, I accidentally left Steam Achievements disabled for version 1.0.1.8. That means achievements weren't working if you played on that version. This version re-enables them, as well as awarding you any achievements that you didn't get, but earned, during that time. I sincerely apologize for this inconvenience.

Prevents a very rare bug that can prevent the player from having access stages after the Jail of the Forsaken area. If you are someone who has encountered this bug, you will need to re-enter the Jail of the Forsaken area and then exit, and the stages should finally appear as intended. As for anyone else, this glitch should never happen again.
- 1.0.1.7 Patch Notes - 16 August 2024
1. Prevents the player from getting stuck above the ceiling by jumping into the spawning logs in the sub room of 1-14. 2. The block covering the hidden door in 2-18 now moves slower to give the player a chance to notice it before being locked out (and therefore having to reset the level to get inside). 3. Lastly, one of the moving blocks inside the hidden room can no longer become glitched by pausing the game. Additional changes were made in the previous version, 1.0.1.6: 1. This patch fixes some small tiling errors here and there (such as a vase being partially obscured during the ending sequence and shadows missing in one of the chest sequences). 2. Also prevents the camera from revealing out of bounds if you die to a pit in a certain world 5 stage.

Half a month into Fallen Leaf's release, in listening to your feedback one thing's been heard loud and clear: there sure are a lot of characters and weapons in the game! While it adds a lot of mechanical depth and variety, it does make quick-switching to your favorites during gameplay more difficult as the roster gets bigger and bigger. Toggle Time So, we've introduced weapon and character toggling. You'll notice a new button prompt on the pause menu when selecting a weapon or character: "DEACTIVATE". Pressing this button will remove the weapon or character from the rotation when you press the previous/next weapon or previous/next character buttons in-game. To undo this, just press the same button again to "ACTIVATE" that weapon or character. The Peamen from the second split path in world 1 were mismatched between the sprites found in the stages compared to the sprites on the stage clear screens. This has been corrected.

1. This prevents the player from getting a crash or a softlock in the Jail of the Forsaken map. Because the cutscene director object was not properly disabled after the cutscene, you could still hold pause to "skip" the regular dialogue interactions with any of the characters in that room. Depending on the situation, you would either get a crash or a softlock. This has been fixed.

1. Thorn's speed meter will now properly be set back to 0 when you "quit area." 2. The dialogue after the gnome escort mission has been fixed; previously, if you had one space free for items and then received the spore potion, you would still be told "here are some jewels to purchase one after you've made space" despite you having space. This has been fixed. 3. Some typos have been fixed.

There was a rare bug that was preventing some players from unlocking the Ambrosia Forest level. The characters in Oasis Garden behaved as though you already had unlocked it, despite that not being the case. This should fix that issue.

Small bug fixes: 1. Prevented a rat from going into a wall. 2. Fixed a typo from Sarah's dialogue (posses -> possess). 3. Prevented the gnomes from being defeated by the bodies of defeated enemies (this was only possible in very specific cases, such as being DBR15 with the damage upgrade). Obviously, this was not meant to be happening. 4. Fixed a couple instances of the peaman image in the stage clear screen not representing the correct peaman from the stage you just played before.
