- Sound Effect Overhaul and Buffing Update! - 11 February 2021
Welcome monster slayers! This update includes two things players have been asking for - sounds and buffs! First off, when you're rolling the dice, they'll bounce off each other and make sounds. When you hit, each type of attack will make a different sound. These sound effects should hopefully help to bring your battles to life a bit more! Second, we've buffed the Warrior and Rogue classes in a few ways. They now start with more actions: the warrior will start with his "shield bash" and the rogue will start with his "archery" action. In addition, they'll both start off with more AP so you can do more each turn right off the bat! A few actions have also been buffed, encouraging players to try out more actions and make more decisions in battle. We really hope you're enjoying Two Die, and please leave us comments either in our Discord or Community page! Thanks once again! Jon
- Class and Upgrade rebalancing, bug fixes - 28 January 2021
Just a quick release: Rogue now starts with the "Archery" action Warrior now starts with the "Shield Bash" action Rogue starts with one less Speed Warrior starts with one less Defense Mage starts with two less AP Bolt Potion now only grants double speed at the beginning of each encounter Distilled Energy is a new upgrade that grants double AP at the beginning of each encounter (which used to come with Bolt Potion, just seemed too strong in practice ) Bug Fix: Enemies no longer can use ranged attacks through objects Bug Fix: Players can no longer skip through dice rolling state due to lots of little bugs popping up around that. Dice roll state has been made quicker in response to this. Hope you all are enjoying the game! Let me know what you think our our updates!

More updates will come out over time, keep giving us feedback on what you want to see in the game. Join us in our Discord or post on the game's community page with your thoughts! Thanks again! Jon
- Upgrades, Enemies, and Control Remapping Update! - 24 January 2021
Hey killers! Two Die is getting it's biggest update yet! This time, we've added a lot of different things. First, we've added a number of new upgrades: Bolt Potion - Start the first turn of each encounter with double your maximum AP and speed Cookie - ??? Coin of Death - Regain 10 HP instead of dying next time HP reaches 0 Lost Key - Snake Eye rolls no longer cost double AP Luck Key - Critical Hit on 11 Dice Rolls Red Skull - Killing enemies grants +2 AP this turn Next, look forward to seeing these new enemies: Brain Spirit Water Elemental Another new feature - some of the stronger enemies now have different dice colors when they attack you. Watch out for these... We've had several suggestions on things to change, so these new features directly address player input: One of our players mentioned in a review that they wished they could remap the controls. This update now allows you to com…
- Critical/Snake Eyes Update! - 12 January 2021
Back again for another update! This time, we've added the following: When either a hero or an enemy roll two sixes, they get the AP for that attack back to use again in their current turn. When either a hero or an enemy roll two ones, that attack will cost double the AP. The Warrior's "Sword" upgrade path has been buffed - specifically "Steel Thrust" and "Brutal Strike". Using these actions will now buff your strength and/or accuracy, making aggressive play much more rewarding! I really hope you're enjoying Two Die, and please reach out to me if you have any ideas for the game. Thanks! Jon
- Two Die's First Update! - 8 January 2021
Hey warriors, rogues, and mages! Thanks for playing the game and your interest in it! This is the first update to Two Die, and it's all based on player feedback. We had a (very little) launch party for the game, and some awesome recommendations were given. Based on that, the following changes have been made: When in the dice rolling state, the attacker's damage statistic is now shown. Quake now costs 3 AP rather than 4. The change to add the attacker's damage was designed to help players understand that when enemies inflict the "weak" status on them, their damage has been lowered. Without this present, sometimes players might suspect the algorithm for the dice rolls is off! It has the added benefit of helping you know which enemies are especially hard hitters. Players upgrading the mage noticed that...well, there really wasn't any reason to use the "quake" action rather than two "rock b…
