  Progress Edge Of Dead is progressing nicely. With all of the core mechanics finished work now is focused on finishing the remaining content, squashing bugs, and balancing game play. No final release date has been determined but it’s close. The prologue may get some attention before then too. Look here for weekly updates. More Pixels Artwork in the orbiting freighter level has been reworked. Added these cryogenic chambers. I wonder what or who is in them? Hazards Hazards in the industrial area include an out of control lightning tower. After much thought it was decided that the player should be able to destroy environmental hazards like this but not easily. Smashing stuff was added recently. • Edge Of Dead Prologue Available Now! - 27 July 2023

  The 'Edge Of Dead Prologue' includes the first full level of the full game with a newly generated map every run, lots of enemy encounters, a shop and lots of loot to find. The game is set in a distant star system and pits the player against an alien invasion. Edge Of Dead Prologue You will start by choosing a crew member, then move from one randomly generated level to another fighting numerous enemies in each level. You’ll need to clear the level of enemies before proceeding to the next. The game involves finding weapons, loot and money from various caches scattered around the level and from vanquished enemies. You can use these found items to power up your character before moving on to the next battle.   This update includes gamepad support and the ability to remap controls. There is also a new inventory management system and map screen to make teleporting around and examining your loot easier. The update also includes numerous bug fixes. Hope you enjoy the demo and feel free to leave feedback.
