- Update #7025 - Improvements for Stalcraft X - 31 January 2025
Hi everyone! This is the first small update in this year. We fixed a bug when the crosshair in Hooks mode became a texture from the Stalcraft game. This fix affects all OpenGL games, of course. Also we found & fixed interesting bug which could drop some fps on some PCs in Stalcraft X. Fixed bug on multi-monitor systems: wrong HudSight window position on start-up in the case of disappearing of previously active monitor. A new regular update is coming soon with new features related to crosshairs construction.

Hello everyone! We have some great news for you! In this update, the most exciting thing is that HudSight 2 in draw mode «Hooks» is once again compatible with games that use Easy Anti-Cheat. We have developed a special workaround that allows us to inject our DLL signed with an old digital certificate that is whitelisted by EAC. The issue has now been resolved for games such as Rust, Fortnite, Apex Legends, Throne and Liberty, Hunt: Showdown 1896, The First Descendant, War Thunder, THE FINALS, ELDEN RING, Dead by Daylight, Squad, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, Crossout, Black Desert, VRChat, and many others that use EAC. Hi there! Changes in this build: Added a new crosshair draw mode - Simple mode. You can read more about this mode on our web site. Selection of the crosshair draw mode is moved to a separate tab in the main software window, where you can choose one of 4 modes: Simple Overlay mode, Real Overlay mode, Game Bar and Hooks modes. Each mode has its own pros and we're sure that you'll find your ideal option. Added multi-display support in Simple and Real modes. You need to choose the active display in their settings where your crosshair will be displayed. Added several software interface localizations: Bulgarian, Czech, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish, Swedish, Thai, Turkish.

Hello, everybody! Today we've got a lots of reports about problems with activation with error message «cannot get steam id». We supposed that this problem is on Steam side, but we tried to fix it on our side. And we did this. Right before releasing a new version, Steam did rollback for their server rules and authentication now works without any updates. Let's exhale :)

Fixed an issue with software freezing and demo message for some users after the latest update #6950. Some computers are experiencing issues with license verification in the Steam version, and this is not related to a specific build of the program. We are investigating what the problem is. What to do if the update didn’t help? If you see a trial version notification when starting HudSight, try restarting your PC or just Steam, and launch the program from the Steam library using the green button. A white activation window should appear in the upper left corner, and the program should start after it finishes. If that didn’t help, perform a clean installation by deleting the program along with the settings from C:\ProgramData\HudSight 2 and restart your PC. Then install the latest version 6952. - New way for crosshair rendering - 6910 - 20 February 2024
Hello everyone! We've added a new crosshair overlay rendering technique Real Overlay which is similar to Xbox game bar widgets but it doesn't require any additional installations of widgets. The only one additional requirement is administrator rights. This version has new interface, it may seem a bit complicated but don't be afraid :) What are the changes, in two words: Custom profile for every crosshair (with one default profile for all other crosshairs) Added support for Steam workshop (as another way for custom crosshairs) Added image generator for fast creating of crosshairs Better image editor usability (undo/redo is added) Added support for «Xbox Game Bar» widget as alternative for «Hooks». Enable it in the crosshair settings and bind two hotkeys which you use in your game to lean and your custom crosshair will lean with your ingame character! But you will need to find the best angle for your crosshair (and set it) Added achievements! :) Better Vulkan-games compatibility Added ability to bind Left mouse button key for some action :) Minor fixes for black/white lists Fixed bug with invisible crosshair if it was hidden (by your command through the hotkey) and then you have cleared this hotkey.
