Set in the grim near future, humanity has been unable to control a deadly pandemic. As a novel corona virus spread in the early 2020s governments failed to react with effective measures to prevent the spread. As a result the world descended into anarchy as new variants merged, deadly and more infectious than the last. By 2022 the virus mutated again dubbed 'cV-19-8b', commonly known as the 'Blue Flu'.
