Killing all Cobol weed no longer required to advance to next level.Cobol plants and background planets added to main menu.For the first time since launch, new Hitch voice lines! He now has about double the number of lines.A far mountain range has been added and the middle mountain range has been blurred slightly.Colliding with a Cobol Weed seed no longer kills the player.Planter now shatters like normal instead of just disappearing when it is destroyed by a sonic bomb.Spiders now have legs on the backside of their body, bringing the number of legs to 12. Legs now only take one hit to destroy, instead of 3.Spider body now has a red light wave that runs through its crevices.

Wingmen no longer add to score after game over.Tanks now have shadows when on the ground.Fixed rare crash caused by mist.Transports can now drop fire tanks, in addition to regular tanks.Spiders now drop metal when being destroyed.Planters now drop Cobol Weeds, in addition to mines and Terror Stalks. The Cobol Weeds slowly grow into vertical pillars, creating a deadly wall of death!Added a new background planet- Tech Planet.Added explosion sound when photon cannon, carried by player, is destroyed.Dead spider head and body now shimmer down off the screen instead of disappearing.The basement levels can now have a few metal crates and barrels that are indestructable.

Added mist between the mountain ranges. Dead Wood Guardians now sink into the ground instead of disappearing. Added shading to all saucers. Added animated tree between the mountain ranges. An evil bloom has been added between the mountain ranges. Crate and barrel pieces weight now show on scale.
- Patch 2.0 - 20 April 2025
Added cloud saves! You can now save the game at the start of any Defensa level by pressing the save button. You only have one save slot. It will save all stats, inventory, and upgrades. Once a save exists, there will be a "Continue" button on the main menu to resume the game where you left off. Using the "Continue" button does not delete the save, so you can continue to load that saved game with the "Continue" button. However, loading a saved game will disable saving your high score to the leaderboard. Saving again will overwrite the last save. Modified main menu screen so moving left and right will move the selected button. Modified the Options screen so it saves the configuration if you exit using the B button.

Optimized warpillar death. Optimized base building collapse, added smoke to the falling debris, and the debris no longer lands in an even pile. Fixed photon cannon fired by player not shooting as much as it should. Added shadow to spider legs.

Creeper vines on the Defensa levels, once they reach the base, have been redone. Before they were similar to the ground vines, but angled upward. Now vines attached to the base are larger and animated. Photon bullets from player can now destroy Steaky Surfers if they hit the gun. Made it so Defensa doesn't have to get so close to the base when dropping off supply crates.

Patch 1.94 Hitch's eyes replace by one big red eye. Modified Player and AI wingmen descending ship graphics. Photon bullets can now kill creeping spawn seeds. Added controls for chaff to store description. Increased price for block tank missile upgrade by 50 metal. Four new upgrades available in the store: Increase descent speed of supply crates Able to destroy turned wingmen Trample laser upgrade - don't stop when they hit something Wood Guardian arms can grow back after a while. Fixed potential crash issue with buying base health from upgrade store.

In the basement levels, Hitch now stays near the center of the screen when moving horizontally. Fixed rare bug causing crash when moving to new level. Fixed bug causing a voice line to never play when the Denfensa ship is enlarged by a Power-down.

Previously, on thunderstorm levels, the landscape was darkened. Made almost all other objects darkened as well. The newly darkened objects are lit up when lightning flashes. On sunset levels, added orange glow to supply lander and rock launcher. Shrunk collision mask for crate and barrel debris. They were being moved by conveyor belts being near the belts, but not touching them. Fire tank now always appears in front of regular tank. Droids no longer venture outside of the outer basement wall. Added new green and black planet to the background planet pool.

All changes were for basement levels. Changed droid behavior so they would not clump together. Spaced out placement of crates and barrels slightly, so they wouldn't be placed so close together. Conveyor belts now carry crate and barrel debris.

The basement levels get some attention as they get obstacles! There are now crates and barrels in the basement that act as obstacles to almost everyone. Hitch and the AI robots can destroy them and the Rocksters can crush them. There are a random number of them spawned for each level. Added crashed AI pilot ships to the ground object pool. They have crashed into the ground at different angles and depths. Hackers code now slows during slow time power-up.

Changed level start text color from aqua to green. Added a black text backdrop to level start and level completed text. Added black background to the ticker message on the main menu. The base cam got moved to the right when the left trigger full-screen base camera was implemented. Moved it back to its original position.

Defensa no longer says didn't hit anything when smart bombing venom. Changed warpillar explosion so it doesn't so abruptly vanish. Added sensor to top of base.
