Hello everyone! We're still working away on Imagined Leviathans' development. In the meantime, we thought we’d give you a little insight into how the world and map building is doing so far... Narrative Progression and the Map As you may know already, Imagined Leviathans will be an open-world, explorative experience with lots to discover. Here's a look at the map! The ‘Levels’ are going to be like branches on a tree, with Steelhenge at the center and each of the characters living at the map’s edges. From Steelhenge, you'll be able to look out, see smoke on the horizon, and set out navigating the tundra towards it. Each branch broaches a different existential topic, personified through an NPC exposing the heart of its theme. You'll be able to move the story forward by reaching out to each of these characters, trying to help them overcome their issues - their ‘personal leviathans’ - to dra…

Hello everyone! We hope you’re all as excited about Imagined Leviathans as we are! As we keep working on development we thought we’d show off a little more of the new game areas... Steph’s Reckless Behaviour This is one of the new areas / narrative branches we have been working on. Here is an abandoned road filled with deserted cars. There’s a firepit in a semi-sheltered spot next to the vehicles, and a large number of alcohol bottles. It’s clear the cars have been dented, smashed, destroyed by whoever visits here. You arrive at Steph’s home: a half-constructed hospital building, with a damaged crane precariously swinging a mass of steel directly above it in the wind. Inside you find a hungover woman with a fractured arm sitting by a fire. She’s been living here for some time. - New Area to Discover in Imagined Leviathans! - 22 March 2021
Hello everyone! Just a quick update to let you all know that we're still working away on Imagined Leviathans and we're so excited to be bringing it to you all soon! For now, we thought we'd tell you a little about one of the new areas we have developed for the game: Introducing 'Bill's Place' Bill lives in a lorry that crashed into the base of an inert wind turbine. It’s a temporary-turned-permanent residence, which he’s insulated and furnished. He’s strapped solar panels to it, but they do very little these days. Bill explains what is going on in the area and this is when he sends you on your mission to get the disparate local survivors together, to start cooperating if any of them is to survive...
