- Major Update: Final Polish Completed and Readying for Full Release! - 5 May 2025
Hello Starfarers, Astral Ascension has released the final polish update and is available now! Here are some of the nifty things that are in the patch: 300+ fixes from voice over line inconsistencies, text mismatch, route bugs, continuity fixes, visual fixes, and tons more! All CGs and BGs are unlockable now, even the pesky Vaela one that was bugged last time! Performance improvements including two notable places where a freeze was occurring on certain variable combinations. This version of Astral Ascension is basically our Full Release candidate! We'll be keeping our eyes and ears open for any other issues that are identified just in case as we collect reports (if any!). We are really excited to be so close to full release!! - Major Update: Continuity Adjustments, Bug Fixes, and More! - 10 April 2025
Hello Starfarers, Astral Ascension just dropped a hot update! We made a bunch of changes, please see below for the highlights: Over 50+ continuity adjustments and bug fixes based on feedback you have provided as well as some backend corrections! The story should feel significantly more cohesive now, especially as it relates to your trait and some of the more nuanced choices. Found a couple of edge case scenarios in the ending/epilogues that would have shown scenes that don't make sense for certain playthrough. Some CGs were not unlocking correctly, these have been fixed. Ice queen Iris was a bit too frosty in her early route! We smoothed it out so her route in the beginning won't feel so difficult, giving you room to experiment with choices! Hello Starfarers, Update Version 7.01 has just been released! Please see below for notable patch notes: Iris, Vaela, Celeste, and Kai have had all their missing/redo lines added! We fixed several bugs with the skip function including it randomly stopping as well as auto-skipping timed choices (which narratively was confusing when it just continued dialogue like you failed to choose when the skip function jumped over it!) Several bug and continuity fixes here and there!
