• Working on LOD - 16 April 2024

  Lower end devices (with e.g. integrated GPUs, older systems) and especially the VR mode need extra optimization to run on high frame-rate. I'm working on a LOD system to support great view distances and keep framerate high. Here are some comparisons. • Current Status - 3 April 2024

  Wow... long time since I created this entry here on Steam. I decided against finalizing the Steam version based on the old Discovery engine. Instead I began with a complete rewrite with modern engine/tech and especially clean code. The new version has been released on April, the 1st as Early Access on the Meta Quest platform and is available on Android as Non-VR too. The main focus on this reelase was the handtracking, mixed-reality and tabletop mode. All of these will also be available in the Steam version (mixed-reality not safe). This is how it looks I have made massive progress in the last few weeks but there are some key features missing that need to be implemented before I can release it as a proper version here on Steam. I'm closing with a small comparision between old and new engine. Stay tuned and spread the word!
