• Permanent Price Reduction - 7 July 2023

  When I first released this game, it was one of the first of its kind. However over the years more VR-walking-ish games have been released and this niche got filled somewhat. Following that and also the fact that this game will probably not get any more updates in the future, I thought it is best to reduce its price. I hope this way it can reach more people, and stay as a way for people to see what VR could be capable of. After all, this game still looks pretty good even after all these years!

• VR Walking Simulator Monthly Update 1.0, Flatscreen mode, and the Future - 29 July 2021

  The Final (?) monthly update is here! The game is finally in a state where I'm proud of. You can take a nice stroll in the forest, or get on top of a mountain, all from the comfort of your chair! The game also answers the question of how nice VR games can look once developers have bigger budgets for VR ːp2cubeː. The big update this version brings is the Flatscreen mode ːFishGodː: The game now automatically switches to flatscreen mode if you launch without a headset. (requested by stephsecor and olydog) In the flatscreen mode you can walk around and take pictures, but you can't "feel" the camera or interact with the polaroids. In both modes there are now 5 secrets hidden around in each map. Find them all and post pictures of them! • VR Walking Simulator Monthly Update 0.3 - 11 June 2021

  Another monthly update is here. This update brings in 3 New Maps ːSD2DPlanetː: The Fantasyland map: A colorful place with interesting locations like ancient ruins scattered around. The Mountain River map: Another map similar to the Forest map featuring rivers and a more mountainous environment. The Rainforest map: A dense forest where the sun hardly reaches the surface in between the trees. The game will move out of early access soon, and there will be a price increase accompanying it.
