• V1.13 Released - 6 April 2023

  Ok, so some admin stuff has been wrapped up in this update which should hopefully address some issues a small number of players have been reporting. Updated the camera system, input system, and render pipeline to the newest versions in Unity. Added a debug system which shows the raw values for both the camera movement and player movement to aid in debugging camera control issues. Added logging to the speedrunning mode which reports the input the player was using. If the input is >95% gamepad, or keyboard, it will report this. If there is a mixture it will include the breakdown of number of inputs used on each.

• SpeedRunner Update V1.12 - 19 March 2023

  Thanks everyone for the post-release support! it has been amazing. One feature requested by the community has been speed run integration, and this update adds exactly that. In the setting menu you can now choose to enable a timer that runs on each stage, is disabled on pause menus and loading screens, and provides a summary both at the end of each stage, as well as the end of the run. Other bug fixes include: - Correcting a number of colliders, so that you are less likely to get stuck in random things (selecting respawn from the menu will reset your position either way). - Addressed a bug, which resulted from the last update where some challenges could not be completed more than once without reloading the game. - Added a new menu option for skipping the intro cutscene. - Fixed a bug in the first stage where it was not tracking stage completion correctly. • Minor patch V1.11 just released - 13 February 2023

  The patch addresses some feedback from players that they found the first basketball minigame too difficult. This updated version unlocks the drift ability irrespective of whether the challenge is completed. Keep your feedback coming!

• Baldy Bounce is Available Now! - 13 February 2023

  Baldy Bounce releases today! It has been about three years in the making and it feels surreal that the day is finally here. Thank you to everyone who has come along for the journey. This is my first attempt at making a game for others to play, and the end result is a lot different to what I originally set out to achieve. Nevertheless at some point I needed to put a line in the sand and commit to a release date or it would be eternally under development. Next fest provided this opportunity, and here we are. The demo will stay up for the foreseeable future, in case players want to try the game out before you buy. Thank you again to everyone who has been following along during development, for those who have tried out the game, and those who gave their time to give precious feedback. -Sam

• New Minor Patch V1.05 - 6 February 2023

  Just released a new minor patch in advance of Steam NextFest which: Addresses a bug where exiting the menu using a controller while the cosmetic selection arrows were selected would cause an issue where the user would need to click on the screen upon re-entering the menu, Added a minor translation update for the sound effects setting in the menu. Reduced the volume of the exit portal. Streamlined the exit portal activation process. It no longer requires the menu to be open to check the level completion % Keep the feedback coming. Cheers.

  A minor patch was just released hot on the heels of V1.03 which addresses a minor sound level issue identified in testing.

• Another Patch Just Dropped - V1.03 - 5 February 2023

  Yet another update just released (V1.03), this time fixing a bunch of bugs, adding features and a new cutscene. Full list includes: Fixed a bug where going back to the menu while an ability was on cooldown, prevented use of the ability when loading back into the game. Added automatic progress saves after each minigame is completed (was previously only triggering when chests were opened). Fixed a bug, where a challenge could be cancelled yielding a 0-star completion, but still counting as the challenge being completed. Fixed a bug, where every time the game is loaded, the camera would pan to the chest unlocked as part of the torch minigame, even if the chest had already been opened. Added a new loading system, loading screen, and intro cutscene. Fixed a bug where cancelling the crate hunt minigame mid-stage would result in the crates being in the wrong positions when loaded a second time…

• Minor Patch - Demo V1.02 - 31 January 2023

  Just pushed a minor patch to the demo (V1.02) which: Fixed an issue where the menu could be hidden behind other ingame pop-ups. Adds a new loading screen. Fixed a few bugs relating to save loading. • Minor Patch - Demo V1.01 - 24 January 2023

  Just pushed a minor patch to the demo (V1.01) which addresses: A cosmetic bug where you couldn't remove the hat or moustache. A menu bug where backing out of the settings menu did not bring you back to the pause screen. The "Press Any Key" prompts not accepting "Any Key". Keep your feedback coming, it is greatly appreciated, and stay tuned for some release announcement updates soon.
