  The 2026 player update is here!98 new players564 updated playersThis brings us to 997 players in the base 2020s player set, with all player careers updated to match the real stats of whoever they're tracking ("Plays Like") up to AFL Round 21, 2026.That means 564 players just gained an extra year on their career stats. And there are 98 new one-year players -- although you may not notice those, since they're often too weak to be offered to you as recruits. But they're there!Note: Players below a certain rating are auto-unlocked, and this includes all 98 of this patch's debutants. So if you already had 100% Deck unlocked, that will still be true after the update -- no new unlocks to chase.This update also removes the display of player weight. The sport is moving broadly toward dropping that in the interest of better player mental health, and it's increasingly no longer available in public…
