- Update: SteamVR Support & Cube Puzzle QoL - 10 September 2025
This update focuses on expanding our supported devices, with SteamVR officially being supported, you can now play on a broad range of devices compared to the previous, Meta-only selection. This was a major point of feedback we heard from players and felt absolutely needed to be addressed! Additionally, we've been cooking up a few side experiments, and were recently able to add in a function that enables skipping cube puzzle games. If you're just looking to lay back and enjoy the show, this update's for you! SteamVR Support Previously, Human Within only supported Meta devices, we've since integrated proper SteamVR support to enable more devices to run the game. Hello again! In Human Within the player experiences the entire story from the perspective of Linh's consciousness in the digital world. As Nyla's sister, you participate in the events as they unfold, enabling and enhancing the system's capabilities from within. In a single playthrough, the memory scenes experienced either focus on Linh’s relationship with Nyla, or her relationship with Blake. Who you focus on in the first memory scene determines which backstory you follow. At key moments during present day events, the system overloads Linh’s consciousness, triggering flashbacks into her recent memories. During these 360° scenes, you determine the events of the past by gazing at specific details when prompted.
