• New Character - 9 September 2022

  YeYa, Happy Veg out Crew. We have a new character to choose. Tommy the tomato has been added to the lineup. Though we are still working his ultimate ability, you can choose him and play through with him also. Plus, there are a few more additional changes as noted below: - New weapons to the Lava stage, Chopping board and Pizza cutter. - New sfx for weapon hits, enemy hits and some more refined sounds. - Have added the ability to start at any stage, makes it easier to test for now. So there you have it. Go on and get Vegging.

• New character coming soon! - 21 July 2022

  New update coming out soon. I'm currently working on a new character addition to Veg out Crew, just trying to find the time to finish them off! It'll be the new Tomato character, Tommy the tomato. He's a squishy little guy and one that has some fun attacks and feels fun to play. Apart from that, we may have the addition weapon that I believe was missed on the last major update, the chopping board. This shall also be added into the Lava stage I believe also. Here's a little snippet of Tommy the tomato's animation in action!! Hope everyone is having a fun time and happy Veg out Crew!

• New Lava Stage and new weapons - 8 June 2022

  Hi all, We have a new update that has just dropped. ːsteamhappyː THE NEW LAVA STAGE!! This gives another 8 levels, a boss fight, new enemies and objects and other ways to beat the game. We also have 2 new weapons, the chopping board and the pizza cutter. So get going with saving the Veg out World. We have also added the stage select feature while in early access. This allows the player to start at what ever stage they like to then test and play through the different stages to see what they are like. Apart from that, we're making progress slowly. I've been a little absent over the past 6 months to a year with other things but should be back a little more in the coming weeks and months to make changes and work on all things development and the game :) Anyway, hope you all enjoy some of the new features and leave a comment, like or a review. • New weapons and stage coming soon - 18 August 2021

  Heya all, Thought I'd share there's still heaps happening and getting done on Veg out Crew. We're currently finishing off some new weapons in the game, The chopping board and the pizza cutter. Might still be some work to finish these off as we're also working on a new stage, Lava stage! So a heap more content, different elements, traps, enemies and a new boss too! This one should be a heap of fun too and bring some new challenges. Just don't fall into the lava when you get to play it out! Anyway, here's some cool images of the weapon animations in action! • New CHARACTERS! - 8 August 2021

  We now have a few brand new CHARACTERS! That's right, Brock the Broccoli, Appy the Apple and Granny Smith the other Apple. They are all have some cool attacks of their own however, haven't quite finished the ultimate moves yet. But there too good not to have in the game for now! So lets go in and give them a crack. We also have some of the below changes too in a summary: • New characters – Brock the Broccoli, Appy the Apple and Granny Smith! • Added 2 new levels to the Grass stage • Updated GUI with text / asset positioning to show health and other areas better. • Updated character selection with some backgrounds to available characters. • Fixed some content issues within the game, eg: health pickup in wrong spot. Anyway, Happy Veg out Crew everyone!

• New stage, new weapon, more new features :) - 25 July 2021

  We have a heap of additional features which I've listed below. I'm sure we'll have a heap of fun playing through and trying to beat a new boss, having fun with the new weapon and taking down some new enemies and loving the new stage! All new stuff in this release so get among it! • New Stage, Blue Rock Darkness. Bringing a bit of horror to the world • 8 levels for the new stage. • New boss – Blue Rock Face. • New traps and enemies as part of the new stage. • Updated all bosses health for some game balancing. • New weapon for some serious poundage. • Re-done weapon damage across all weapons. • Added enemy weapon range attack damage • Several steam achievements have now been added :) • Updated the cursor to be carrot pointer, bit of a trial to see how it's perceived. • Fixed some minor content issues within the game. • New character, new weapon and new stage! - 17 July 2021

  We've got some new features dropping now, we've added the ability to choose a new character. We've also added a new weapon with the new stage too. Also some minor tweaks within the menus. List below: Added new character, Eggy the Eggplant. Added new weapon, the Whisk. Added new stage, Purple Rock, with heated rocks that'll hurt you and vines galore. New boss incoming with the new stage too! :) Updated Character selection buttons to be a little more prominent and coloured. Fixed position of settings menu for now, moved it down a bit. Happy veg out crew!

• Early Access - Veg out Crew - 14 July 2021

  I've made the decision to release in early access. I would love to get peoples thoughts and ideas on the game, what they find is fun and enjoyable about it and what could make it that little bit better too. Apart from that, it's more about getting Veg out Crew among the community and people playing it.

• Minor update - 22 June 2021

  • Updated all health pickups with some shading on images • Updated 3rd special ability for double health, creates a shield that provides TEMP double health • Added new level for Stage 1 Level 6 and 7 WIP. • Updated settings config to have "Reset save file" which deletes the save file.
