  Extended Stay Patch 1.53Extended Stay now features a brand-new race: Horses are available in the current live build of ES. Several fixes have also been made to how models are rendered on character cards, reducing the chance of unloaded characters appearing. In addition, a new clothing item is now available by default in ES.   I've been working on improving the performance of Extended Stay and found that one of the biggest drains was the overly complex lighting system. I’ve made several adjustments especially in the sex scenes, where the lighting was the most demanding. • Extended stay's Demo is now available for download! - 21 November 2025

  I've just released an updated version of Extended Stay’s demo, and it's now available for download on Steam! Thank you all for your patience there was a bit of a delay while I waited for Steam’s approval process to finish, but everything is finally good to go.If you're interested in trying out Extended Stay, you can head over to the Steam store page now and check out the latest demo. • Extended Stay 1.5 update - 27 October 2025

  A lot of players have expressed frustration over the difficulty of extended stay, most of this frustration seems to come from the RNG elements in ES as well as a difficulty spike early in the game. Over the last two weeks I've been re-working several mechanics to make the game more readable, even out the difficulty and minimise the RNG. These changes include, a higher level starting character, reduced satisfaction caps for guests, and longer stay times for guests. Thanks to everyone who has been reporting bugs, this is invaluable to the development of ES.   Another quick update to fix a few bugs. Change log - Traits are no longer capped at 2 in the character creator - Hair accessories are now coloured correctly - Fixed the reset scene button not showing after climax - Adjusted the character creators movement controls - Fixed the error preventing blow job sounds from playing - Adjusted the volume and regularity of moans in sex scenes - Added a button to remove all clothing in a sex scene - Armpit hair is now an option in character creator

  In this new version of ES I hope to fix a lot of the issues causing clothing to clip through the guests as well has a few extra pieces of content that were intended to be included in the 1.4 update.   I’m pleased to announce that Extended Stay has received a long-overdue update. Firstly, I’d like to apologize for the lack of communication regarding the state of Extended Stay. Due to financial circumstances, I’ve had to step away from development for the past few years. This, along with the loss of the original game files, led me to believe it was best to leave the game in its current state. However, I recently discovered an older copy of Extended Stay and have spent the last few months bringing it back up to date, while also updating and optimizing some of the content.
