• MULTIPLAYER IS BACK! - 19 December 2022

  MULTIPLAYER IS BACK! ....but with some issues Map / Minimap system is only displaying one players movement to everyone on the server. Some clothing options may change color on character skin. • BETA BRANCH ADDED - 20 October 2022

  A beta branch named "pre-release" is now added which anyone can change to and try out features that is not live on main branch yet. A special test world is used when playing on "pre-release" where items and resources are infinite. This version is only for testing purposing and do not represent the complete game. Next update to main branch is planned 21 October.

• Patch Notes - v1.0.3 - 14 October 2021

  Gear and Equipment Backpacks increase your inventory slot amount and carry weight Two basic backpacks has been added. Leather Armor! We kill animals to get food so we can survive, but why are we leaving good resources behind? Not anymore, now wild animals drop more loot which you can use to craft your first gear with. Crossbow and Firearms A crossbow, a pistol and a rifle has entered Surviving West. All to prepare you for what's coming. Practise so you master each weapon so you have maximum chance to survive. Wooden rack and a Cooking pot More recipes and food variants is added. One way to craft some of them is in the new cooking pot. You need to hang it over a campfire on a wooden rack.

• Patch Notes - v1.0.2 - 30 September 2021

  Map, minimap and more food Map and minimap Players have reported that they are having issues with navigation while playing. Before the map and minimap was locked behind quests / ingame events. In this patch players will have the map and minimap unlocked when they enter the game but only within the spawn islands. When you start to explore and go further out towards new location you will notice that you no longer have a map. The map for each other areas must be discovered and / or collected while playing. More food and wild crops More wild crops are now growing in the nature. Go and gather them and check what tasty dishes you can use them in. All wild plants has a chance of giving you one or more seeds when collecting them. These can be planted in a planterbox if you have one. Remember to put water in the planterbox so the plant don't die. Fixes Campfire must now be turned on before craft…

• Patch Notes - v1.0.1 - 28 September 2021

  Quests and Information To get players started, Surviving West now have two short quest lines that tells the player what to do to get going. More quest lines of this type is planned. Multiplayer issues is now fixed Players experienced issues when playing muliplayer. These are now fixed, multiplayer is working as it should. Fixes and changes After reports from players that certain items and other things were a bit unbalanced I took a look around most objects in the game and changed / tweaked a lot. Some items were missing icons and some were not able to be crafted due reference issues. This is now fixed so you should no longer see any white missing icon boxes. • Surviving West Leaving Early Access! - 24 September 2021

  Surviving West is about to leave Early Access! Today Surviving West is leaving Early Access and brings a massive update! Past two - three months i've been working on many new features. I had a vision that i could keep everything hidden for all of you until i had finished it all... and now we are finally there! I want to say thank you to all of you out there that have helped me in various ways. Everything from bug reporting to inspiration and ideas. Massive thanks really! Some of the New Features Rafts and boats so you can sail around the world faster and easier. Continents with new species and creatures. Many new creatures to fight, harvest or loot for resources. Planterboxes in different size and material so you can plant and grow from seed you acquire. Over 30 new food items and over 20 new recipes. Protein, Fat, Carbs and Vitamins is new character stats that both affects the characte…

• Community Update #1 - 14 September 2021

  Hello everyone! Why has there not been any updates lately? Me, Nemo has been in surgery. A small one but it still takes a couple of weeks to get better and work ready. Now when i feel better again i will continue to work on the next update. What will be in the next update? Next patch is mostly about a new Nutrient system. Protein Carbs Fat is added into the game. Also a lot of new recipes and various ways to cook food. Farming will also be implemented. Planterboxes where you can plop down a seed and some water to get things to grow where you want them too.   Wooden Bow You have all seen that you have been able to craft arrows but no Bow... now you can! New Resources Saltstone Grind saltstones into crudesalt and crudesalt into canningsalt! New Gameplay Trailer I have made a new Gameplay Trailer which is live on Steam Store page. It will also be used in future marketing campaigns. Fixes and Changes Reinforced and Metal bars transforme into wooden bars are now fixed. AI Spawns is no longer triggered by players. More UI scaling fixes and improments.   New World A new world is here, way bigger and a lot more content. More content like enemies, nature and props will be added in future updates. Jakob and Simon has re-located to Iron Peek. New Building Tier You can now upgrade your house to Sheet Metal! New Resources Pure Iron Node Mushrooms Flowers Food items Changes, Fixes and some additions Furnace, Campfire and Millstone now have a visable crafting list instead of auto crafting depending on resources in it's inventories. Your character can now "Punch" and make low damage to trees and stone nodes. Increased the size of collectable stones on the ground to twice as big. Added a hand held Torch. Dummy recipie fixed. Windowsbars and doors added for each Tier. Some recipes changed. Fixed keybinding for Inventory and Character Info Panel.

  New UI Design A new set of UI textures is added in main menu and partially ingame. All UI elements is getting a review and reworked if needed. • Tweaks - Bug fixes - Community requests - 4 April 2021

  A couple of tweaks to the game was made. First Boss "Woollaby" got his damage and speed reduced. Community requested some more stones / rocks at starter island, more added. Bug, not able to place objects on the island of Gotala fixed.
