- Big Bundle coming to an end - 29 December 2025
After the end of this Winter Sale, I intend to retire the big discount bundle that covers all of our pre-Zorana games together. It's just too big and unwieldy and most people don't want to buy all the games all at once, even with a bonus discount. - Hunt the Pumpkinhead for a Halloween achievement! - 27 October 2025
Hello! If you've seen a small update go by, that's us turning on the special encounters for Halloween to align with the Steam Scream Fest sale (Oct 27th - Nov 3rd, but we're giving it a little wiggle room on the ends as well)Throughout this event, the Pumpkinhead character should spawn on Hunting activities, allowing you to claim the Pumpkin Pie achievement. - Halloween updates locked and loaded - 24 October 2024
Hello! If you've seen a small patch update go by, this is just a modification to set the internal dates correctly for this year's Halloween event on Steam (which will run from Oct 28th to Nov 4th). During that time, the Pumpkinhead character should spawn on Hunting activities, allowing you to claim the Pumpkin Pie achievement. But it won't be active until then this year so wait for it! (If you hunt and hunt and can't find a pumpkin *after* the 28th, let us know.) In unrelated news Cute Bite is coming to consoles this Halloween! Got a friend who would enjoy an adorable vampire chomping on things? Look out for Cute Bite on Xbox, Switch, and PS4/5 web stores, it should be available on Oct 25th.

Welcome to spooky season! This year's Halloween Event means that once again the Pumpkinhead character should be spawning during weekend hunting events. - Hunt the Pumpkinhead! - 25 October 2022
From October 25th to November 1st, hunting for victims in town has a chance of spawning a special Pumpkinhead monster encounter. Finding and defeating this special monster will earn you the Easy as Pumpkin Pie achievement: Happy hunting, and Happy Halloween!
- Unimportant Update - 22 September 2022
Just posting this in case anyone noticed the game downloading an update - it is solely adjusting the date range for the triggers for this year's Halloween event next month. Nothing else was changed.
- 1.6 Patch Update - Collector Achievement - 26 August 2022
Due to a minor bug, previously the Collector achievement for completing the ending gallery was failing to unlock when you achieved your final ending and would only unlock the next time you finished the game after that. This should now be corrected. If you have previously completed the gallery but not received the achievement, you will still need to reach an ending again in order to trigger the check and get the achievement. Any ending will do, even a bad one. Please let us know if you have any problems or if the achievement still fails to fire.

To foster holiday spirit, we've commissioned some artwork featuring the Little Mistress decorating a Midwinter tree with straw ornaments: (Art by crownxdoll) The other girl is Corrinna Lee, a character from the wizarding-school game Magical Diary. Her coloring is slightly reminiscent of our little vampire's, don't you think? Coincidence? Well, maybe not... but you'd have to play her storyline to find out! - Pumpkin Patch - 2 November 2021
Small update to fix a bug in the code that calculates pumpkin creation. If you have a save made during the Halloween event, you might still be able to get a pumpkin to show up while hunting, but it's unlikely. For the most part you'll need to wait until next year (or cheat).
- Halloween Update + Special Achievement! - 28 October 2021
Happy Spooktober! From now until Nov 1st, hunting in town now has a chance to trigger a special encounter with a Halloween-themed target. Defeating this target will earn you the new Pumpkin Pie achievement. (This also means the town has more hunting targets available than usual, especially during the late game, so get stalking!) For seasoned players, we've also unlocked Developer Mode, for those who are interested in playing with cheat codes to adjust your stats (especially useful for tracking down extra ending variations you might not have seen yet) Chat with others in the forums to figure out new tricks!

New version is available on the default branch. Achievement added: Jack of All Trades, which is achieved by unlocking ALL the jobs on a single run Bug fixed: Quick saves and auto saves often had incorrect name data on them. This should now be improved. Bug fixed: The Computer and Gardener romances were incorrectly triggering in some circumstances when they were meant to be blocked. This should now be fixed. Please let me know if you encounter any problems!

- Development Update - 18 July 2021
At this point, all art planned for the initial release has been completed. There's always the chance of more being added if something strikes our fancy, but the basic roadmap is 100%. There are no barriers to release on this end. All career endings have been added to the game and are currently in beta-testing. Currently working on writing and adding all the optional character plotlines, romances, and ending variations. Some of these scenes can be quite hard to find. You never know when you might stumble over a secret! No specific launch date at the moment but things are still on target for a fall release.
- Cute Bite demo available for a limited time! - 14 June 2021
We are pleased to announce that Cute Bite will be participating in this summer's Steam Next Fest, a preview event for upcoming games! Sample an early preview of this vampire raising sim by playing through the first few months of the training year. Meet the vampire and her butler, take classes, raise money, and try to control the vampire's appetite... This preview covers the first 80 days of gameplay, after which it will stop. It may be possible to continue savegames into the full version, but this can't be completely guaranteed. The game is still in active development and many things are being changed and added. This special preview version will only be available during June 2021, so check it out now!
