  Torii - The End of the Beginning v 2.0 Hey! It’s been a long time! I’ve been working on an update for Torii in my spare time. Torii TEOTB brings a lot of changes and improvements to the base game. There have been many changes, and I focused on constructive feedback to rethink the game mechanics without losing its essence. Clearly, the rest mechanic was boring for players, so I started there. Now, it’s no longer necessary to rest, and the game focuses more on capturing hums to progress. Additionally, there is a significant change in the game's pacing. NEW MECHANIC: STEALTH Now, Ipa must hide in bushes and avoid being seen by hums. To capture them, she has to grab a fruit that makes them vulnerable. Now, the hums will be the ones running away from Ipa! This new mechanic is inspired by Pac-Man. There are different ways to capture hums, depending on each player’s creativity. Ipa can use bai…

  Puzzles/Exploration • Now players will know exactly when they finished a puzzle. Puzzle items disappear, prisms are disabled and a statue of Astrum appears. • Some puzzles have been reworked with their difficulty adjusted. • Added new effects to make exploration and puzzle solving more intuitive. Bugs • Fixed a bug in the memory storm puzzle that caused players to not be able to re-enter the Astral. • Fixed a bug in the menu that did not allow the player to change the vsync option.   Choose your play style! - ARCADE MODE - • Added "exploration marks" as an option when resting to make exploration easier and stamina regeneration times augmented. Recommended for streamers, anyone who want a lighter experience or those who want a second run to find all memories easier. - IMMERSIVE | EFFORT MODE - • The classic mode, demands more effort and attention. No navigation marks and stamina regeneration times are normal.
