• New Game Early Access - 25 May 2025

• A very minor final update - 22 February 2022

  Last update for SnOut 1, because SnOut 2 is here! Changed the button at the top of the page from "wishlist" to "purchase" ;) Thanks for all the support over the past 9 months, we were just a couple hundred away from 15,000 leaderboard entries which is incredible! Here's to the future, and thanks for playing!

  Hello! If you're not part of the Discord it will be news for you to hear that I have been developing a sequel to SnOut. This will come with many extra features and will generally just be put together a bit better and feel more like a proper game! FIND THE SNOUT 2 STORE PAGE HERE No trailer yet, just a couple of screenshots and a bit of information on there Please head over there and add it to your wishlists! Having the game on as many wishlists as possible before release really helps with Steam's algorithm and pushes it up the list of "popular and upcoming", so it would really help me (and the future of the SnOut!) out if you could do so!   Hi all, Another quick fix to solve the problem of music duplicating every reset. In addition, I have also added the current version number to the bottom of the screen so there's no doubt about which version you're running. Thanks!

• 1.2.3 - Coin Chaos and New Palettes/Styles! - 1 September 2021

  After a summer break (which is not much of a break for me since it means working 40+ hours a week in the service industry) I've managed to put together a little update! Changelog: Chaos mode! - Enable this in the options, and let chaos ensue! For obvious reasons, this mode will not upload to the highscores tables 2 new palettes and styles! A desert themed Sandy block style and palette A bee-themed hexagon block style with an appropriately orange palette And, subsequently, 2 new other new options in the menu: Shuffle Palette Shuffle Style These do exactly what they say on the tin and shuffle between your unlocked palettes and styles every game! Any issues at all please let me know and I will do my best to resolve ASAP.

• 1.2.2.2 - Steam Leaderboards - 25 May 2021

  Quick update to add the support of Steam Leaderboards. Your score will be uploaded to the Steam Leaderboards when you next launch the game and play a round (quickly suicide if you which to just update the score). The score used will be your all-time high score, and it will be under your Steam username rather than your SnOut username. This is so you can easily compare with your friends! Thanks :)

  The following are now fixed: - New cave palette and block style are no longer given for free. This was an accident, but all those who gained them will still get to keep them! Consider it a gift :) - Can no longer mash the unpause key to spawn multiple countdown timers - Countdown timer will now shift upwards if the head of the snake is underneath, improving visibility

• v1.2.2 - The Purge - 24 May 2021

  NEW! Name changing! You are now able to change your name. Your highscore and position in the high score tables are preserved, and your pin will not change. Due to multiple reports of offensive or broken usernames, restrictions have now been applied to all SnOut usernames. Previously, anything was allowed as long as it was 7 characters or less. Now, this has been changed to the following: - 7 characters or less - Only Latin alphabet and numbers (no symbols, punctuation, or foreign letters accepted) - Content filter to block the most potentially offensive names. If you have a name containing illegal characters or potentially offensive content, you will be asked to change it on your next login. Any issues with: - Changing your name - Your current name not being offensive and wanting to keep it - An offensive name you see that has slipped through the filter and/or is not listed as offensive…
