Some of the puzzles that Pedro encounters in his adventures are tricky... But don't despair! We've just released a hint book DLC which can help you through some of the most difficult parts. It's completely in Spanish which makes it another great learning resource, *and* we've included lots of images so that you can still work out what the clues are. Buying this hint book DLC is also a great way to support us as developers and directly funds the development of future games. - Major improvements have been added! - 11 October 2022
After reviewing a lot of videos from streamers and test players we've made some major improvements: This game was never intended to have any "pixel hunting" elements. As such we've made important objects more visible with new sprites and new animations to draw attention to them. This keeps the player focused on their goals and the language aspect of the game. Some players (understandably) find the hunger and thirst system frustrating at times. And whilst this isn't primarily a "survival game" those survival elements are an important part of the gameplay and game mechanics. Regularly accessing your food and drink makes it easier to remember some crucial vocabulary. That said, the way it was implemented had a lot of room for improvement. Those improvements have now been added. You will now be introduced to the hunger/thirst system earlier in the gameplay but you will not have to eat or dr…

- Updated gameplay mechanics - v1.29.6 - 21 August 2021
Thanks to some constructive feedback we have decided to modify some of the game play mechanics: Pedro will now experience hunger/thirst only half as often as before. The tutorial video when you leave Pedro's house will now include advice on how to quickly cycle through actions using the mouse right-click button. This mechanic was previously illustrated after a few hours of game play, the philosophy was that we wanted to give the player a lot of exposure to the Spanish words in the action bar. We now realize that this may have affected the fluidity of the initial game play too much. This update also includes a typo correction (thanks GameLang). Mil gracias y buena suerte!

- RELEASE DATE ANNOUNCED! - 18 July 2021
We are very excited to announce that the official release date for Pedro's Adventures in Spanish has been confirmed! The game will become publicly available on July 29th, 2021 EST. Thank you all for being so patient. We know a lot of you are excited to play as soon as possible, but we wanted to take the time to give the game the love and care it deserves and provide you with the best quality experience we could create. Many thousands of hours have gone into carefully crafting every aspect of the world, the characters, and the dialogue. - Final beta phase before release! - 9 July 2021
¡Buenas noticias amigos! We are getting very close to release now and about to start the final beta testing phase. Don't worry if you missed out on play testing the game, the final version will be available for you in the next few weeks! In alignment with the final beta phase a new early release version will be released over the next 24 hours. This version contains graphical polish along with tutorial improvements and improvements to some of the puzzle logic. Apologies to anyone currently play testing, your current saved games will probably no longer work. But feel free to start a new game and continue your journey!
- New beta version and phase 2 testing - 2 July 2021
Hey all! Thanks to some initial feedback we've made some major changes to the gameplay: -Greatly increased Pedro's movement speed (including when he’s hungry or thirsty) -The cursor will now become highlighted when hovered over an object that you can interact with -Improved performance of cut-scene videos -Characters provide more clues for some of the harder puzzles -Improved some artwork and animations -Added pause button -Improved tutorials -Updated some dialogues for more closure on completed quests Big thanks to the testers so far who have provided valuable feedback. Due to the scope of this update unfortunately your current saved games will no longer work. So you'll have to start a new game if you'd like to continue playing the beta release. Phase 2 of the beta testing will begin shortly. And we are still on track for a mid July release. Mil gracias!
