  Steam Next Fest is coming to an end. Thank you to everyone who has tried the technical demo of the game, provided feedback, or added the game to wishlist. As this is my first game, all the feedback has been incredibly valuable and will help in creating a truly high-quality game. The main issues that I have taken note of and will prioritize addressing are: 1. Fixing the head bobbing and overall player camera settings. 2. Improving the locomotion system, including the idle state and running. 3. Adding more interactivity to the demo.   I apologize for not mentioning it earlier: the game demo on Steam is a technical demo. I didn't have enough time to polish the mechanics and prepare the level for the start of Steam Next Fest. You can find out what the game will be like upon release on the game's Steam page.

• Two weeks before the demo is released! - 5 June 2023

  There is very little time left before the start of Steam Next Fest! And this means that in 2 weeks, on June 19, 2023, the demo version of Out of the Woods is coming out! The main purpose of the demo is to tell about what awaits players in the full version of the game: modes, mechanics, plot and much more! You can also explore a small piece of the forest to get an idea of the graphics, the basic mechanics that are already fully functioning and the like. Don't forget to add the game to your wishlist, it's very important!

  Hello! The main work on the inventory system is complete, which means the necessary minimum for the release of the Out of the Woods demo version is done! However, there is still a lot of work to be done on points of interest, user interface (main menu, inventory appearance, etc.), as well as the health and stamina system. The latter is not so obvious and simple: the demo version will feature a greatly simplified system (most likely, I won't have time to implement what I planned for the summer Steam Next Fest). In the release version of Out of the Woods, there will be a more complex system based on the real capabilities of the human body. So the "rule of three" will apply: 3 minutes without air on average before a person loses consciousness 3 days without water, after which dehydration occurs, which is dangerous to life 3 weeks without food without serious harm to health. • Out of the Woods at the Steam Summer Festival! - 9 March 2023

  Very soon, in June 2023, everyone will be able to try out the demo of Out of the Woods at the Next Fest. A small map with several points of interest and one basic game mode will be presented. This will be quite enough to understand what the game is about, and whether it's worth waiting for the full version of the game.
