• Indefinite Server Outage - 14 January 2024

  Hey everyone, I come with some unfortunate and somewhat embarrassing news. Some time in the last week, my SQL Database server (which Run, Doodleguy!'s network content is hosted on) was hacked into and fully wiped. The data is being held ransom for $42k, which in my opinion is not worth it (not to mention the insane debt I'd go into if I did pay it). All Drawings, Collections, and User Info have all been wiped, and the game now freezes whenever you try to open the Network Menu. Worst of all, this is happening in the midst of an extremely busy period in the development of MINDWAVE, a game I am a project manager and programmer on. I do want to bring Doodleguy back online, but I'm not sure when I'll have the free time to make it happen. As an apology for 75% of the game's content being made inaccessible, I'll shortly be dropping Run, Doodleguy!'s price to $2.99 USD (and let's be honest, the…

  Thanks to all players for the support on day one so far, it really means the world to me :) Launch was rocky (had to delay the release by almost 3 days!), but it's turned out in the end, and I've learned a lot from the past few days. I've got a lot more plans for games in store, and I'm infinitely grateful for everyone who's chosen to follow me on my journey. It's gonna be a great one! Also, I've fixed a pesky bug one of the playtesters has found. - Fixed a bug that let players pause the game to cheat death. Happy drawing!
