Here is the update on today's patch: Fixed the localization issue in the settings that were staying in French even though it was swapped to English.

Hello adventurers! Thanks to your precious feedback, we have fixed the following aspects: Untriggered achievements: "The end of the journey" and "Explorer" are showing now. Regarding the "Explorer" achievement: - Either it is detected when you start a new game if you explored everything on the map in previous runs, and will also unlock "The end of the journey" and "Chernobog" - Or if you have not unlocked "Explorer" yet, "The end of the journey" and "Chernobog" will be unlocked normally when you end the game. Typographic corrections in French Fixed the screen reader activation that was not automatically launched if the demo was not downloaded. Also, the screen reader will automatically speak after this update if you launch the game again.

Hello Adventurers, In previous Steam news, we mentioned that Firebird will be accessible to visually-impaired people and added a few accessibility features. We added a new addition to these features and wanted to inform you about it. Here is what we originally announced as accessibility features: Screen reader detection on the first launch - Menu, dialogues, narrations, map Able/Disable scenery shaking Able/Disable characters shaking Able/Disable text shaking Able/Disable transparency Able/Disable particles Regarding the new feature, you'll be now able to play with one hand with a keyboard. Not only it was implemented in the demo, but so it will be in the full game! Why did we make this choice? The accessibility issue in video games is still underrated. - The choices and their secrets | June Devlog - 1 June 2023
Hi Adventurers ! In this devlog, we'll elaborate a little more about using the map in Firebird. When you open the map, you'll have a choice of 1 or 2 destinations. They are delimited by zones as you progress through the Great North. First, you can check out your resources level at the bottom of the screen. From left to right: money, gas and truck condition. Then, all the interactive choices lead to different situations! In the screenshot above, you can see a wolf drawn on the map. This means that we enter the wolves' territory and we might encounter them! But there are also mysterious icons that will give a hint of the place you're about to discover. Finally, the deeper you go in the Great North, the more often you change zones. Slavic myths and legends will become even more alive. Will you recognize them? 👀

As you go through the Grand North, you'll need to pay attention to your resources, especially gas. The less gas you have, the more complicated your trip will be. And if you ever have an empty tank, it's game over! How to check out the gas level? When you pick a new destination on the map, you will have an overview of your resources. Every time you go somewhere, your gas level diminishes by 1. How can I find gas? If you're curious and brave enough, some of the seemingly difficult choices can lead you to a jerrycan of gas! It means that the adventure continues. What about the state of my truck? Your truck has a general state. By facing bandits, having small crashes or making the wrong choices, your truck's state will deteriorate. The more damage you take during your trip, the more state points your truck will lose.
