A Message from the Developers Five years ago, we first introduced Once, in Times of Chaos . Back then, we were full of passion and could not wait to share this extraordinary espionage story rooted in real history with you. But in the days that followed, we encountered challenges far beyond anything we had expected—technical difficulties, the constant refinement of the content, and the challenge of making players genuinely feel that they were choosing their own fate. We tore everything down and started over time and again, revising the script, reworking the interactive elements, and refining the production. In early 2026, we returned for another round of filming, hoping to make the game just a little better. It took five years—far longer than we ever imagined. During all that time, what we feared most was that you might already have forgotten the name Once, in Times of Chaos . But what moved us beyond words was that, throughout those five years, we continued to see your comments everywhere—“Why isn’t it out yet?” “It’s already 2026—I really want to play it!” “Are you still working on it?” We saw every one of those messages.
