- Guillermo Del Toro and Grant Morrison Announce Their New Comics in Battling Accents - 12 October 2012
Yesterday at New York Comic-Con, one of comics' best writers and a true movie-making visionary told the world what their new comic-book series were about. Too bad no one could understand them. Just kidding! Every word from Grant Morrison and Guillermo Del Toro was perfectly intelligible. Exciting, even! During a press conference held at the Legendary Comics booth at New York Comic-Con, Morrison announced a new project called Annihilator and Del Toro talked about the Pacific Rim comics that will serve as prequel to his movie of the same name. The two creators were joined by Pacific Rim screenwriter Travis Beacham and editor Bob Schreck, with Nerdist's Chris Hardwick moderating. After the panel, Del Toro talked about his still-brewing horror game project InSane and how his love of Valve was instrumental in getting a very special voice from Portal into his next movie .

- Legendary: The Box dev quiet on Resident Evil rumour - 16 December 2011
Legendary: The Box developer Spark Unlimited has remained quiet on the suggestion it is making a Resident Evil game for Capcom. The US studio, responsible for 2008 games Turning Point: Fall of Liberty and Legendary (previously Legendary: The Box), refused to answer questions about its unannounced third-person action/horror game, pre-production of which began last month. The mystery project is, according to Spark, a "breakout game based on an established console franchise". In a job advert it is described as a "bold new take on third-person action/horror genre". It is also referred to as a "franchise and genre extending game" for the current generation consoles, and is being made using Epic Games' Unreal Engine. Posters on NeoGAF made the link to Resident Evil after noticing a VFX designer who worked at Capcom for 11 years, including on Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition, joined Spark in Octo…
- Blizzard Turns up the Heat in World of Warcraft Patch 4.2 - 28 April 2011
World of Warcraft 's Cataclysm expansion brought the forces of Ragnaros the Firelord to Mount Hyjal, threatening to destroy the all-important World Tree. Now, the Horde and Alliance take the battle to the Firelord. Blizzard's Cory Stockton talked me through the upcoming 4.2 patch, from the Firelands dungeon to the new legendary weapon casters will be drooling over. The Firelord Ragnaros has been pushing World of Warcraft players around since the game first launched, bringing his fiery mace Sulfuras to bear as the boss of Molten Core. After his defeat in the Molten Core, Ragnaros was banished back to the Firelands, but his influence could not be restrained. With the coming of the Cataclysm, Ragnaros and his allies launched a full-scale assault on Nordrassil the World Tree, still healing after the events of the Third War. Players have been successful in pushing his forces back, but that's…
