• Big update coming for Asfalia - 3 October 2023

  Hello, everyone! It's been a while since Asfalia: Anger was launched, and we've been hard at work on the next episode Asfalia: Fear, but in the mean time we've also worked on addressing some of the feedback we've received from reviewers, because your feedback matters to us. Better performance The biggest thing we wanted to work on was a performance overhaul. Most players didn't really notice but Asfalia: Anger was more ressource hungry than it should be, mostly due to how Charlie's pathfinding was handled and how we save things in the game. The former was causing unnecessary CPU usage, while the latter was bloating memory with textures and sounds, eventually resulting in the entirety of all sounds and textures of the game being loaded in memory. So we fixed all that for Asfalia: Fear and ported Asfalia: Anger entirely on our new codebase, which took a lot of time. This change to the sav…

• More profiles! - 12 March 2023

  By popular demand, we have removed the 3 profiles limitation. Everyone can now create a profile, your neighbour, your aunt, your grand-parents and even your cat if you want. If you already have 3 profiles, an "all profiles" option will appear allowing you to create more, and search among all existing profiles.

• Windows 7 bugfix - 1 February 2023

  We care about all our players, and some were having a specific windows 7 behaviour which caused Charlie's garden to be pitch black. The sun is back now :-)

The adventure started for us in July 2020 when 6 years old Julie asked her dad if he could make a game for her. Fast forward 30 months later, and the promise is now fulfilled.   Steam Next Fest is just around the corner And because we want you to get the best possible experience, we worked hard last week to add many improvements to the demo. - SFX galore: Immersion requires good audio. - Previously in Asfalia: A little screen was added to recap what happened to Charlie before the demo scene. - Updated dialogues: All speech bubbles now say the same thing as the voice audio. - Graphics improvement: Updated textures, wind and lava particles and many more - Pause menu: when entering the pause menu, the game actually pauses. - Fixed some UI issues We can't wait to hear what you have to say about these improvements.
