• Introduction of the Gauntlet mode - 8 May 2023

  Hello! It has been a while (well a bit more than a while) since Holt got a update. Holt's development has been slow but I wanted to provide some content to allow for players to still enjoy the game. Introducing the Gauntlet mode! This is a wave based survival mode that players will have to build defenses to protect a unknown relic from the enemies. Use a variety of unique weapons that will spawn on the ground to shoot, slash, and punch your way to victory. This mode is still in early development so some features are missing and are subject to change. I hope when I have time again to add more to the mode to allow for more endless play time. This is just a small update and I hope to be back soon to show off more content! -Frog

• The state of Holt - 21 January 2022

  Hello all, So at this moment, Holt and its development has been slow and almost at a stand still. Over the past couple of months, I have been slowed down with other life issues as well as an urge to work on smaller projects as well. As of this moment, Holt will be delayed for some time and I am not sure when I will be able to pick it back up. I hope for when I finish with my college education I can continue once again. In the meantime, I will be working more on the story and building the universe more. I am sorry for the sad news and I hope Holt will come back better than ever. Take it easy -Frog

  Hello all! Sorry for the bad news as some players may have gotten emails or notifications about Holt being completed and fully released. • Holt Patch (Too Many Games 2021) - 9 October 2021

  Hello all! So some changes have gone through for the game they are small for now but I hope you enjoy some of the tweaks! If any issues come up please feel free to message our discord or leave a post on our community hub! New: -Mouse and keyboard support Dev Note: The voices of the reviews have been heard and we finally got around to adding mouse and keyboard support to the game. The controller is still an option to so need to worry! -Flutter Frogs Dev Note: Flutter Frogs appeared soon after the invasion. These frogs look like any normal one. However, the Teredit swamps were being tainted with Axelite crystals that caused them to sprout crystal wings. Whacking these frogs will tend to drop players shards of Axelite to use in shops -Sliding! Dev Note: We thought it would be fun to add more movement to the game so we allow for Holt to now slide! -Multiple weapon types and orbital gun move…

• Too Many Games 2021 and upcoming patch - 28 September 2021

  Hello all got another update! This one will be short and sweet. Holt will be at Too Many Games and a Holt patch is coming soon Too Many Games 2021: Holt will be at Too Many Games this year which is from Oct 8-10 at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center! If you are local to the area come check it out! Holt Patch and fixes: Lots of feedback has come back and your voices have been heard. Some tweaks will be coming to Holt with keyboard support and some minor tweaks to enemies and performance. A detailed patch note will be released at the time of the update which will be soon. This patch will either go live before the Too Many Games convention or after but we will see. I am sorry this update has taken so long and I know there is more that needs to be done and I am working hard to have it all fixed! Until next time! -Frog

• Holt Discord, Patreon, and Bug Fixes! - 19 July 2021

  Hello all! This is the first official announcement for the Steam page! A couple things to go over but should be rather quick. Discord: We have a server were people can game, chat, and hang with other people from the Holt Community! The server is always growing and we would love to have new members join! Join the discord! Patreon: New roles have been added to our Patreon! The new diamond role allows for supporting members of the community to have a NPC of them put into the game! Join our Patreon! Bug Fixes: Lots of feedback has come in about bugs and these issues are being tackled as of right now! I hope to have a large portion of the issues patched out soon enough but no ETA as of right now.
