- The Minor League Update - 15 July 2024
Hey baseball fans! We're glad to present you our latest update for Astonishing Baseball Manager: a new complete minor team system! Historically, in AB, you could only send major leaguers to your minor team, and only manage those, disregarding the other members of the team. No more! Your minor team will now display every minor leaguer in it, allowing you to see their progress through time, and calling them up if you find them promising! We're also introducing some UI improvements and bug fixes, in order to improve even more your baseball experience! - Spring Training Update - 5 March 2024
Hey baseball fans! While we're waiting for the new season to start, a new update has been pushed! It mostly contains bug fixes, including one for the franchise player mode that a lot of people were waiting for! It also includes some small simulation improvements, and some UI niceties for the multiplayer mode. Hey baseball fans! Long time no see! The season is over, but not our cycle of updates! So this week, I'm bringing you a bunch of bug fixes, and the brand new custom colors interface. Hey baseball fans! This week is all about small details! First of all, the season screen has been redesigned with a cleaner look, and smaller cells for the scoreboard section. Look at this beauty! On top of that, the boxscore has been changed so it fits longer names in a better way, and you will see more teams displayed in the "recent games" section of the multiplayer practice screen. Finally, some contextual help popups have been added on some screens. These will help beginners to get a better grasp of the basic features of the game. Hey baseball fans! This week's update is a great one! Two big features have been added, and bunch of smaller ones are also joining the party! The first new feature is the "World Cup". This mini-event takes place every 4 years, during Spring Training. You will be asked if you want to take charge of an international baseball team, and lead them to victory! This is a nice break from the regular season. It's also a great feeling to play with stars from the entire league! The second new feature is the "Bleachers' message" editor. This will allow you to post your own messages to the social network of the game. And this includes the possibility of running "polls". - A Prodigious Update! - 1 August 2022
Hi baseball fans! This week we bring you a big update, with not one but two major features! The first one is "The Prodigy". In this mini-mode, you will take care of a future prospect, going from high school all the way to your graduation! Not only you have to take care of upgrading their stats, but also take very important decisions: do you train or study? Do you go to a college in Seattle or Paris? Do you play baseball or go out with your teammates? And most importantly, should you go to the Halloween party with your best friend or the girl of your dreams? There's no wrong answer (or so they say). The second new feature is the ability to go deeper in the training of your players. Until now, training was only improving hitting or pitching. Hi baseball fans! This week's update is a big one! Not only a new game mode is available, but new achievements have been added as well! Career mode is, in my opinion, the best way to play Astonishing Baseball. So I'm really happy it's finally being released on PC! In this mode, you're in charge of a team, as usual. But at the end of a season, you can also decide to change air and move to a new city. Not a fan of New York fanbase? Move to Boston! Tired of the rain of Seattle? Let's coach the Los Angeles team!
