This feature was designed to offer a seamless start, merging the best aspects of education and entertainment. • Version 1.2.0 aka "no strings attached" is now live! - 12 August 2022

  From now on, Spirit of Europe Origins no longer requires login/registration by default! Our sincere thanks for everyone supporting our educational research! While we will still continue to investigate how edutainment game projects might fit into a curriculum, we also want to know how this particular edutainment project would do as a game experience with no strings attached. We want to learn more on how players feel towards it as a game instead of a learning tool! Thus, everyone that would like to support our educational research endeavor further will be able to do so, but this is no longer mandatory in order to play the game. We hope this will ease the pain of having to register & complete the initial assessment some users expressed.   1.1.0. Patch notes: Just a maintenance hotfix that only adds a reset game button addressed to those who have already completed the game and would like to start over. WARNING: Use with caution since it erases all game saves & local completion status - which means it will require you to login once again, like you did when running the game for the first time. This does not affect your progress on the server.

  Patch notes: - Version 1.1.0 comes with a new game mode: Story mode: This game mode is dedicated for players that only want to enjoy the story & content of the world without having to deal with economy, structures, units or combat. You start with 3 top-tier units and the only time you will ever see combat is where it is required for completing quests. Not to worry though, aside from the three top-tier units that can ensure you won't get blasted in the first initiative turn, you also have a "Kill them all!" button that instantly deals 1000 damage to enemy units.
