  - Keybinds should work properly now when using controllers!! - Beefed up keyboard control reliability - Now compatible with Steam Deck (will need to select 'Gamepad With Joystick Trackpad' from the Controller Settings menu)- Fixed an issue with the difficulty scaler - Fixed an issue in Chapter 2 in which zombies could push cars harder than the player, possibly causing softlocks if they pinned the player against a wall - Set player movement to 'running' by default in Chapter 2 Stage 1 - Updated art - Added loads of bg framework to prepare for the All-4-Chapters update

• MARCH 2026 UPDATE - 18 March 2026

  - added a Difficulty Scaler to Chapter 1! Game will now go from "walk in the park" to "hurling your controller across the room" - lots of bugfixes! - added functionality to stage 1-8 to match the rest of the game - lots of art updates - reconfigured cutscenes to be pausable, skippable, and auto-forwarding (we'll likely make this togglable later) - converted some stage backgrounds to 3d - removed clickable background objects from cutscenes; we'll add them back in once the cutscene formatting is overhauled again - added keybind menu to all levels

  To celebrate our first year live, we've added some new graphical updates, a new arcade stage, some bugfixes, and a few new surprise features! Thanks to everyone along for the ride, and look forward to a huge Summer update in the coming months.

  2022 Winter Update pt. 1 - fixed an issue which had significantly increased load times - full controller support for cutscenes and menus (clickable background objects still need to be clicked for now) - added 'advance cam' and 'reverse cam' buttons for easy navigation - updated various bossfight characteristics - streamlined dialogue system; now players can double-click 'submit' button to see all of any text box - locked down aspect ratio to 16:10 and 16:9 to minimize scaling issues - various graphical updates
