Several sexy stories remain to be told in Porte Avant, so here are the upcoming DLC characters in the order we plan to release them!Q: Why are these characters taking so long to be released? A: Hey everybody! washa here, lead animator of Hey Stranger! I wanna explain this very important topic. The bottleneck of this project lies in the animations and is why the new content takes so long to release. Lutci had the most complex set of animations in the game, especially since each of her scenes is composed by two scenes within one, so it was twice the work per scene, which also resulted in the longest scene in the game so far. The next characters shouldn't take so long anymore as most of them fit the context of original characters already released. Fixed an issue where Lutci could have an additional arm when first meeting her. Improved the quality of the transition to the world map, when declining Lutci when first meeting her. Fixed a broken loop in Rose & Val first animated scene, in a certain part of it. Fixed a broken animation clip in Bramble's second animated scene. Fixed 2 wrong audio clips in Bramble's second animated scene. Fixed 2 Constance's clips in her first animated scene. Updated a small graphic of Jez and her dirty overalls. UI Keybind arrow keys no longer appear low resolution.

The Queen must not be kept waiting.The FREE DLC for Lutci is finally live! She’s comfortably seated and rubbing elbows (amongst other things) with both staff and patrons alike during her mini-vacation to this quaint little town. Perhaps it’s time to pay her a visit? Be warned, though! You’ll need to be on your best behavior. This aristocrat only shows kindness to those who show proper respect. So what’ll it be? Just a simple trip to pick up some coffee... Or will you bend the knee?
- Build 0.9.22 - DLC Update - 18 August 2026
Lutci's DLC is now available and ready to play. You can find her when visiting for the 2nd time the Cafe in-game location, while having this free DLC installed and enabled. Constance's 2nd animated scene has been updated in quality. Text quality have been increased in several in-game windows. Save files created while having a DLC installed, will make that save file only work as long as those DLCs are installed. Updated Cafe location, this location can now be fully completed. New achievement can now be unlocked when completing the condition, in Lutci's new content. Updated engine version, for stability and performance improvements.

Hey Stranger! now has full keyboard and controller support, giving you more options to play (and "multitask") the way you'd like! We've also added a few fixes and flourishes to the UI system, and we're pleased to announce that full Steam Deck support will be coming very soon!Keep an eye out for big things on the horizon, because after these next few technical patches, we plan to trickle out those free DLC characters as well!

- Incoming Quality-of-Life Update! - 1 December 2025
Hello, everyone! The reviews are in, and we on the development team are taking notes regarding what features you folks want to see. At the very top of that list is the ability to replay previously-unlocked animated scenes. This is now priority #1, and the assets and code are being created even as this announcement is being written. And for you folks who have already unlocked some of those scenes, don't worry. You won't have to do it again; Cinema Mode is retroactive! We aim to have this feature updated and live before the end of December! Also on our to-do list is keyboard and controller functionality. Those will be implemented at a later date, but rest assured, they're coming. Stay tuned for more announcements regarding future quality updates and news pertaining to the first of the free DLC's!

Arrival!The time has finally come! ‘Hey Stranger! I Dare You to Love Me!’ has finally released! The road has been long (and there are still many surprise twists ahead), but we’re thrilled to finally be able to share the sultry city of Porte Avant with all of you! That, of course, includes the lovely ladies who live there, too! Some of you might be wondering why this took so long to release. Steam’s policies have changed a lot in recent months, and one such change includes adult titles losing the ability to release as Early Access (which was our original plan). We pivoted accordingly, and so we’re referring to the launch of ‘Hey Stranger’ as ‘Arrival’. At launch, you will be able to meet and interact with 6 of Porte Avant’s residents from the get-go.
