in this patch, once again we are attempting some resolution to the plague of the black screen bug, so please do let us know if you encounter it, as that helps us locate the issue. amongst that , we updated the heck out of the game in preparation for the full story mode, features are as follows: NEW physics on the hands, now you can pet the dragons and your hand doesn't go through them. NEW elemental arrows, that can be harvested by killing big golems, or by meditating NEW elemental golems that roam all the environments NEW physics applied to the golems, so they explode into small rocks on death, rocks that you can touch! Our new version changed HOPE's entire loading system in order to reduce the chances of loading issues in the future. In addition, the player's height has been adjusted to be more accurate, and the travel sequence is faster and smoother along with more in depth stabilization in the code.

We have resolved the black screen bug issue on version 17 of Hope after months of headaches. Thanks for your patience, and for helping us find the problem by reporting it. Users reported getting a black screen/infinite loading screen issue when starting the game, however, after a thorough investigation we believe to have resolved the problem. We tested it on several computers for what felt like thousands of times, but the test results do not show any problem. If you face any problems, please let us know, and we will fix it as soon as possible. We are working hard toward many new features in the near future. Please make sure that you are on version 17 or later of HOPE and at the worst case condition, IF you face the black bug, re install the game and let us know. THANK YOU!

Black screen on load bug resolved Patch #3 We have dug deep into the issue and hopefully resolved it for the last time. Please, if you guys ever face the black screen issue again let us know of the version you were playing and when the black screen happens and we'll make sure to fix any bugs that your report. Thank you PS: Please note that if you had an older version that got updated the patch might not work, and according to playtests uninstalling the game and installing it again made the patch effective in removing the bug. though still we would appreciate it if you report any problem you face.

so for this patch we decide to go big! it took countless hours of work to get to this point and we are beyond happy with the results, so here are the major updates: NEW DRAGON PET SYSTEM the old system lacked depth and was too..... meh.... so this new system allows you to hatch dragon eggs, get a random dragon from one of the 3 races: Mouse Dragon, Tiger Dragon and Sea Dragon! with 4 rarities: Common, Rare, EPIC, LEGENDARY NEW cube Building system and material harvesting system, so you are able to harvest the rocks you find, get cubes, and build what ever you want! as long as it's a cube based structure..... for now! - MAJOR BUG RESOLVED! the mini games had a major flaw, thankfully we caught it! - 4 December 2021
so if you guys noticed, some of the reviews came in criticizing the mini games and their depth. I sort of expected some conflicting feedback but was surprised with the acceptance rate to the concept, that was until I got in and tried the game once again, and realized that there was a major issue which is: -The speed of the boxing targets was fixed in all levels! even though I had set them to varying speeds, there was an issue with the code that resets the speed of the targets to mind numbing speeds. -The shooting games had dodging targets that did not trigger for a major percentage of the time! also a code issue that was resolved. the issue was from our side and we do apologies, hope you enjoy the updated mini games now! and as always your feedback is literally gold to us, so don't hesitate to tell us if you have any suggestions or inquiries.
