Hi folks!We’ve got a new patch for Battle Train coming out. Thanks to everyone who played so much Endless you found some edge cases for us. We appreciate your dedication!Here’s what’s in the update:● The issue with the Crush Prow has been fixed, and it’s now safe to equip● We’ve included a few more trinkets in the Endless run that were previously only available in the Daily run.● We’ve updated our font so that players with Chinese characters in their names will display correctly on the leaderboards● There was an AI softlock caused by an invisible error that was happening during the Draw Card phase. That bug has been fixed, so the softlock should no longer happen.● You should now be able to unlock all run prizes● The Cool Sunglasses trinket should now work properly● AI can properly place deployables without the occasional softlock● If there’s no valid card option in a random event, you c…
- DLC Bug Fixes - 10 October 2025
Hi folks!Yesterday we pushed a patch with some bug fixes for the DLC. Thank you for your patience as we got these issues hammered out. Here’s what’s been updated:- The effect of trinkets will now be applied before run prizes are calculated. This means that the Aalvado portraits from the repair shop, or any trinkets that impact your total health, will be accounted for.- The Volcano card should now only be playable in the correct range.- Giving up on one of our DLC Explodathon puzzles should not mark the puzzle complete- Fixed an issue where the Knight Shield bugged out the game- The Play Sub-menu will now only close once the pre-requisite checks for the Daily Run menu have been completed.- You can no longer open up the trinket or deck menus during a train attack. 😆- We fixed a softlock from button pressing during the train attack- You can still skip the tutorial battle, but you cannot a…

Hi all! We’re super excited to tell you all about the giant mega update coming to Battle Train on September 4th. It’s basically two updates in one, both with substantial new stuff, along with a couple fixes to some bugs reported by the community (thank you!)First, we’ve got ENDLESS MODE!!! For those of us in the US, Thanksgiving is right around the corner. While every year has its ups and downs, here are some of the things we here at Terrible Posture are grateful for: Our Kickstarter was backed at 213%. That’s not too shabby, and we’re grateful to everyone who believed in the game enough to support us there. Battle Train was also included in several top demo lists that came out during Steam Next Fest. In a field that had over 3,000 demos to try we’re grateful to have stood out among the crowd. We’re grateful for the continued feedback from players who really seem to love the game. Your enthusiasm is awesome, and we appreciate it so much. Our new SUPER DEMO is now live!!! In preparation for Steam Next Fest, we've shared a new demo that is chock full of content--roughly a third of the final game! We've gotten rave reviews from our early playtesters, so go check it out! We'll be doing a performance update later this week, to fine tune things before Next Fest, so if you've got any feedback we'd love to hear it. Yeah, Joe’s not a madman at all. So, to reiterate, follow our Kickstarter! Back us on day one! It’s the cheapest way to get the game, and it helps the game achieve that sweet, sweet, visibility. All jokes aside, we honestly think Battle Train is a great game, and we think other people will like it, too. We just need for them to know it exists!
