• Fracture Hell Demo Released - 6 July 2022

  Facture Hell received a demo so you can try out the game for free. The demo features the complete game but gaining points for buying new gear and weapons is disabled. You can try out the gunner class and all the starter weapons and build your first decks with the available upgrade cards. All the progress, stats, and high scores transfer over to the full game. • Fracture Hell Development Finished - 24 February 2022

  After 10 Months of Fracture Hell development, I am happy to have finally achieved all my goals for Fracture Hell and released my first game on Steam. I am finishing the development of Fracture Hell now, meaning there are currently no plans for future content/feature updates. I will still maintain the game and fix any critical bugs or release small balancing updates if necessary but my main focus will go to new projects. • Steam Achievements & Leaderboards - 24 February 2022

  I added a total of 34 Achievements and 10 Leaderboards to the game. Achievements are unlocked retroactively after launching the game for the first time for those who already played the game previously. Thank you for reading and have fun unlocking some of the achievements :)

• Steam Cloud Update - 23 January 2022

  This update enables the Steam Cloud and syncing your save games across multiple devices. All the profiles and gameplay relevant data is stored in the cloud. (like your unlocks, load-outs, decks, etc.) Settings like fullscreen, volume, and all other options are not stored in the cloud because they are device-specific. Have a nice day!

• Fracture Hell 2.0 Release - 4 January 2022

  This is an extensive update of the game improving many aspects while leaving the core gameplay intact. The biggest difference is the new deck-building system. Use the new upgrade cards to build a deck complementing your playstyle and gear selection to go beyond what was possible previously. Additionally, you can further fine-tune your experience by using artifact cards to change the difficulty of your next run. You can unlock new upgrade cards, artifact cards, and guns by leveling up each class. Right now each class comes with 7 guns, 20 upgrade cards, and 5 artifact cards. The arena mode was removed in favor of the endless mode and I added 5 different game modes for you to enjoy. I completely reworked the color palette of all enemies to make them easier to distinguish from other parts of the game. • Teaser Trailer - 2.0 Major Update - 25 December 2021

  I decided to change the version number from 1.2 for the update to 2.0. I changed and improved so many things that it feels almost like a new game with the same roots. I made a teaser trailer to show the most important parts of what has changed since the original release. Many things have changed alongside bug fixes, improvements, and polish but I can only show a limited amount of things ;) The update is almost complete, I only need to make some last polish/balance tweaks, and then it is ready to be released. It took me longer than I thought to make all of those changes but now I am finally at the finish line. Thank you for your patience and I will hopefully be finished within a week :)

• Update 1.2.0 - Sneak Peek #2 - 11 November 2021

  I keep this progress report deliberately short ;) Since the last progress report, I completely changed the underlying data system of Fracture Hell and rewrote the entire savegame system. This makes the creation of new classes and guns much easier and faster. I have redesigned about 90% of the UI elements and improved the high score screen with new filtering (class, game mode) and a better layout. The game mode selection screen is not done yet but is already better than before and allows you to quickly change your class before starting the next run. The armory screen is probably the biggest change. Also not done yet but it already features detailed stat and bonus screens, switching your gear, comparing your gear, and much more! • Update 1.2.0 - Sneak Peek - 20 September 2021

  I am currently working on the first big update for Fracture Hell. There will be some significant changes to certain parts of the game but I try to keep the original feel and style of the game intact. Take a look at what's already implemented ;) First of all, I completely removed the arena game mode and hardcore/ ironman modifiers. The arena mode was pretty complicated to maintain and balancing it was tough. It didn´t feel right for me to keep it around, especially with the changes I had in mind for the rest of the game. The same goes for the ironman and hardcore modifiers. Alongside the classic endless game mode, I implemented 5 new game modes that are all endless game modes: Tag it - Each enemy drops tags on death and you have to collect them to open the upgrade screen.
