Hey, everybody! It’s been almost two weeks since the game’s release, and during this time, we’ve managed to roll out several updates to improve the game experience. We've been actively gathering your feedback and making various adjustments to Beyond the Darkness. Of course, we’ve also been fighting bugs — what game development is complete without that? ;) Here are some details on what’s been done so far: Improved clarity of the most challenging puzzle requirements in Acts II, III, and VI. Significant changes to the Act III location (addressed incorrect collisions, player navigation issues, and adjusted the "fairness" of enemies). Enhanced one segment of Act V to make it more convenient to progress through. Fixed transparency issues with certain obstacles in Act VI. Adjusted the volume of the English voiceover in Act VIII. Hello everyone!!! Today we'd like to talk a bit more about what the game is about, and what stage of development it's in. First of all, Beyond The Darkness is a dark adventure in the spirit of a nightmarish fairy tale. We aim to tell a story full of mystery and danger. The story is told on behalf of a girl named Millie. She will find herself in her own world, consisting of her home and other ‘spaces’ hidden behind closed doors. Millie doesn't know how she got here, where her parents and brother have gone. The only thing she has at her disposal is an old lamp her mum gave her. Thanks to it, she can light her way and charge other lamps. However, the lamp's light is not infinite and you should use it wisely. All the more so because behind some doors monsters are waiting for the girl, eager to take away the light of her lamp.
