• Delisting The Lonely Helmet - 3 July 2026

  Hi Everyone,I started The Lonely Helmet during COVID-19 as a hobby project because I had hee haw to do. The game actually did not too bad for sales, and then I made it free after that because I didn't care about the money but just wanted people to play it, which, you did. Thanks!Unfortunately at some point post-COVID I lost the source code. I have no way of updating the game, or improving it. It runs like garbage, I was very new to C# and Unity at the time it was made, and as much as I love having it out there, it's hot garbage. I've started the delisting process and the game \should\ be delisted by the end of July. It's already been delisted elsewhere on the internet, so Steam is the last place to get it before then.Thanks for everyone that bought it, and everyone that played after it was free.

  Hello friends, I've been thinking about doing this for a few months now and have finally decided I'm going to make The Lonely Helmet free. I spent a lot of time on this game and it does mean a lot to me, but financially it didn't do great. I know people love free games and I'd love for people to play it and hopefully enjoy it, so going free seems like the best option. • COMING SUMMER 2022 - 27 April 2022

  I'm happy to announce that during the Summer of 2022, The Lonely Helmet will be released on Steam available on Windows and macOS (Intel only*). Have a few of the trailer, and thank you to everyone that's been around during the development process - you absolute helmet legends. *Due to the library that I use for Steam Integration, Apple Silicone is not currently supported. This is something I am hoping to add in the future, however in the event that I cannot, please take the understanding that The Lonely Helmet does NOT support M1 Macs and only Supports Intel based Macs at present.
