• Best Videogame at El Ojo Iluso - 2 May 2026

  Hi! Last month we told you about The Eightfold Path‘s nomination to El Ojo Iluso film festival from Venezuela. Now, we’re very proud to tell you that we won Best Animation for Videogame! 🥹🥹 After a long look at the nominees, the judges chose our game to be this year’s winner of this category. • Selected for El Ojo Iluso Film Festival! - 20 March 2026

  Hi everybody!This week we received some amazing news! Our indie game The Eightfold Path, has been selected to be part of this year’s edition of the animation film festival from Venezuela, El Ojo Iluso For the first time, they opened a special category for videogames, and we can’t be more proud to be part of it! We put a lot of work on this game and love to see it reaching new audiences We made a special animation short from gameplay recordings and judges seemed to loved it! This is the second film festival where The Eightfold Path is selected. Last time it was for the Ojo de Pescado film festival in Valparaíso, Chile. Funny how both film festivals are related to the eye! 👁️Anyway, I wanted to thank you all for your continued support and for being part of this amazing journey!We’ll be sharing more news soon! • The Eightfold Path v1.1.0 - 26 March 2025

  Hi everyone! We've just updated The Eightfold Path with all the improvements and bug fixes we worked on to get the game ready for its launch on Nintendo Switch tomorrow! The Eightfolf Path for Nintendo Switch We can't be more excited about publishing our first game on Nintendo Switch! It took a lot of work but we're finally here :) We had to make major optimization changes and now those changes are available here on Steam as well! Remember you can check out the complete changelog for the game right here! Thanks to everyone who has supported us and enjoyed our game! • Meditation Music Released - 8 November 2024

  Hello my dear friends! I’m very happy to let you all know that a mix of original music from The Eightfold Path created specially to meditate was just released! Cris mixed together the soundtrack that he composed and produced to deliver this wonderful meditation experience, with sound effects and ambience from the game. • Updated to Version 1.0.4 - 2 September 2024

  Hi! I just updated the game to version 1.0.4! It's got some improvements mainly on the earthquake sequence on the Effort puzzle. Also, the shadow darkness was limited so it doesn't get TOO dark! Cris added the song from the release trailer to the incidental music and it fits perfectly! And finally, we fixed some bugs like the bunny flowers not loading and doors being closed even though their buttons are pressed after load. • The Eightfold Path is now available! - 23 August 2024

  It’s been a long journey but the moment has finally come! Although we had to face many challenges and overcome difficulties (just like the monk) that came along with completing the game and launching on console and even had to delay the game!), we learned and grew so much and are very excited to see you all play and enjoy the game that we carefully crafted for you to play and experience 😊 This is also our first game on Xbox and we hope to reach more consoles in the near future! • Release Date Confirmed! - 9 August 2024

  Hello everyone! I’m very excited to announce that The Eightfold Path will finally launch on August 23 🥹 As many of you might already know, we’ve been working on this game for more than 3 years now! It’s been a long journey filled with challenges and great moments and I can’t be more excited to finally reach this moment and share our hard work with all of you! In the game, you play as a buddhist monk on their path to enlightenment. You’ll explore a vast forest filled with magical places, beautiful creatures and engaging puzzles that will put your abilities to test.
