  Today, the world can finally stay indoors, and touch some grass! Now what is next? Here's the plans for everything that will be happening until the steam next fest! Flowers There's different kinds of flowers with different effects! Yield type flowers These are flowers that give you better chances of increasing the yield. However, in return they slow down the growth rate: Daisy - 2% chance to gain an additional blade of grass. 10% decrease to growth speed. Dandelion - 5% chance to gain an additional blade of grass. 15% decrease to growth speed. Sunflower - 10% chance to gain an additional blade of grass. 20% decrease to growth speed. Mycelia - this special mushroom can only be planted in caves. 25% chance to gain an additional blade of grass. No growth speed deficit (this automatically comes with the cave region). • Water barrel & flower changes - 3 March 2025

  Added Flowers now by default reduce growth speed. This depends on the flower. 0.9x for daisies. This is only additive for now. (Formula: 1/SUM(1/0.9)) A positive value simply adds. e.g. 1.25 multiplier on 2 plants = 1.5x multiplier. Added a rain barrel that gets filled up by rain. You can refill your watering can at the rain barrel. Changes Consecutive bonus chance now decreases by 5x (10x before). e.g.: before: chance = 100% - 2nd chance = 10% - 3rd chance = 1% now: chance = 100% - 2nd chance = 20% - 3rd chance = 4% This should make it way more possible to get multiple grassblades easily. Fixed an issue where flowers would appear green permanently. Fixed an issue where flowers wouldnt load from your savefile. A flower only affects grass when it's fully grown. The watering can can now only hold 10 seconds of water. The watering can now doesnt refill after a restart.

• Internal shop improvements & placeable flowers - 3 March 2025

  New Flowers that affect grass now glow green when planting the grass. Added daisy seeds to the shop. The store is now "smart". That means it keeps track of what you selected so far and doesn't select you any more items if your available money isn't high enough. Changes Fixed multiple issues with the new preview system. Fixed flickering of Marijuhana preview. Removed ability to pick up grass when holding seeds/the watering can. A grass blade is only sold for 1.15$. A flower now only buffs for 2%. Flower buffs stack additively (2 flowers = 4% buff, 60 flowers = 120% buff). In the case of a 120% buff you have a 100% chance for a second and a 12% chance for a third grass blade. This will continue being lowered until you miss a chance for a grass blade. This lays the ground work to add more flowers. In the future a new flower shouldnt be more work than defining it's pure existence

• Minor Fixes - 1 March 2025

  Fixed an issue where saved sound settings wouldnt apply on load. Fixed an issue where the inventory bar would appear as if it selected an item but didnt actually select any on load. Hopefully Improved performance a little when grass is growing. (Should be multithreaded now)

• Steam store page now live! - 27 February 2025

  Today, Steam finally approved my request to publish the store page! Let's take this opportunity to review the current state of development. Don't forget to add the game to your wishlist! What is the current state of the game? The game is fully playable. It's short, but the core gameplay loop is functional. Many mechanics are already implemented on a technical side and now just need content. This includes items in the in game shop, various buffs/debuffs. etc. So what is really in it at this point: Purchase grass seeds. Plant grass. Watch it grow. Harvest it. Sell it. Grass grows in 100 seconds as a base value currently. A single daisy. It gives you a 5% chance to obtain extra grass when harvesting grass that is planted near it. You start with a watering can.
