• Shock, Fire, Frost - 9 December 2021

  The three different goblin tribes you will encounter in the dungeon have three different elemental powers: Shock, Fire, and Frost! Their elite Guardians (on the final floor of each tribe) and their Boss wield a weapon imbued with that elemental power - WATCH OUT!

• AI Behavior Trees - 4 December 2021

  AI Behavior Trees are behind every mob you will encounter in the dungeon. They are a visual design tool for laying out how the artificial intelligence should behave and respond to events in the dungeon. Since the trees vary from mob type to mob type, you can expect to see the mobs behaving and reacting differently!

• Compete for high score! - 26 November 2021

  Global leaderboards will show how your score compares with other players around the world - see how far you can get! Sophisticated scoring will track your progress and after completing a game your point total will automatically be posted to the world-wide leaderboard. You start each game with 4 lives, but you can earn an extra one by hitting 10 million points.

• First Boss! - 15 November 2021

  Every few floors you'll be presented with a boss challenge: defeating the boss will earn you the right to proceed up in the dungeon - towards freedom & revenge! Each goblin tribe has a special power, and their champion will wield a weapon imbued with it. Show no mercy - their champion certainly won't!

• Playtest ends Nov 8th - 6 November 2021

  Open playtesting has been going on for the last few weeks. A lot of great feedback was received from the playtesters and has been incorporated into the retail release - thanks to all for participating and making Dungeon Avenger an even better product!

• Open playtest has begun! - 9 October 2021

  Open playtesting (no keys or invitation necessary) has begun! The first 3 levels of the dungeon are fully playable, including support for Achievements and Leaderboards. Most importantly, you can hit the F1 function key in-game to submit a bug report or idea for improvement. We'd love to hear your feedback - have fun and good luck escaping!
