- Rollback of visual assets rework - 9 November 2025
After careful consideration, and taking into account community feedback, the game's previous visual assets update has been reversed. We feel as though the artificially generated images, whilst more detailed than the original assets, took away from the game's character and spirit.

Dear community, After having made the game free-to-play, we vowed to update and improve the game's state, in order to reach a new audience of players. The first order of business for us, was to improve the game's visual assets, particularly the backgrounds. Thanks to recent advancements in artificial intelligence and computer-aided design, we were able to rework the game's background assets with a modern and coherent approach. This does not include the characters, which were carefully crafted by @04119__snail specifically for our game, and will remain as they are. After much consideration, and an in-depth analysis of the game’s journey so far, we’ve made a heartfelt decision: "Louder Than Words" is transitioning to a Free-to-Play (F2P) model! This decision wasn’t made lightly. We’ve always envisioned "Louder Than Words" as a game that’s accessible and enjoyable to everyone, and we believe moving to a F2P model aligns perfectly with that vision.
