An hour, in this rat worId, flows faster than a human might expect. Efficiency is crucial. If you don’t perform good enough, the supervisors might snitch you to the bosses and you will feel the wrath of their consequences. BE THERE ON TIME OR SPEND THE NIGHT OUTSIDE Every night at the same hour, the gate to Cheesemount closes. If you didn’t get back in time, tough luck. You will have to spend the night outside (and outside isn’t pretty when the sun comes down).

• A Rat's Life demo OUT NOW ! - 20 January 2023

  The demo for Pieces Games’ debut project A Rat’s Life : The Cat Conspiracy, a first-person rat adventure, is now live on Steam. It features exclusive achievements and around 1:30 to 3 hours of playtime. We're only two persons working on this project, and players' comments help us a lot. Feel free to complete this survey after your playthrough. What to expect: First-person rat action : run on four paws, travel through pipes, talk to your neighbors, climb walls, MOVE LIKE A RAT ; Detect odors and dig through walls to gather yum, dirt and maybe even cheese (or just destroy the walls because you're a vermin and destroying walls is what you do) ; Buy props and equip your rat to access new areas ; Sneak around the Third Wall Cheese District, a borough populated by friends and shady characters.
