Fire & Steel v1.4.0 - Changelog: An Old Nightmare: Added "An Old Nightmare" to the campaign, as the penultimate level, with new medieval enemies and weapons. As you approach the ruins, your thoughts are taken back to a time of knights and kingdoms, a medieval era which you once rained flames upon... Added new achievement "Dragon Age" for completing "An Old Nightmare" without taking damage. Added 4 new Steam leaderboards for An Old Nightmare, one for each difficulty. Fire & Steel v1.3.2 - Changelog: Added an FPS Limit option in the graphics settings. Available options are 30, 60(default), 90, 120, 144, 240, and unlimited. If you are having problems such as overworking CPU/GPU's while the game runs fine, bringing this setting down to your monitor's refresh rate should help. If you already used to get over 60 fps with no issues, and play on monitor with a refresh rate greater than 60Hz, you should raise this value in the settings to keep your previous fps (since it will be 60 by default). Made save file loading little more robust to try and alleviate some level loading issues.

Fire & Steel v1.3.0 - Changelog: Survival Mode An endless mode in a brand new map where you deal with waves of enemies with increasing difficulty and numbers. Furthermore: Every 2 waves, you get 1 new fireball charge. After the first wave and on every 2 waves, a new batch of health pickups spawn, removing any old ones. Every 8th wave is a "boss" wave. Your fireball type upgrades after each boss wave (until it reaches the max upgrade). From wave 24 onwards, the types and numbers of enemies, and therefore the difficulty, reaches a maximum. Will you take on the challenge? Achievements & Leaderboards Added 4 new achievements: "Great Enemy Felled": Defeat wave 8 in Survival Mode. "The Iron Giant": Defeat wave 16 in Survival Mode. Movement Not holding W/S will now cause the dragon to hover in place (as opposed to pressing W once and moving forward constantly.) Backwards flying speed has been doubled. Fixed scroll wheel input being tied to the dragon's forwards/backwards movement.

Thank you for the feedback on the recent achievement issues! In this patch we've adressed both the problematic achievements, hopefully they should be fixed. Further feedback is welcome. Fixed an issue where the AI dragon feeding on animals prevented the "Veganism" achievement.

Fire & Steel v1.2.4 - Changelog Added a cooldown system to the main fire mechanic: As the main fire button is being pressed, the cursor will visually wind down counter-clockwise. After 8 seconds, the wind down will reach the end and refill in 2 seconds, during which you can't use your main fire. If the main fire button is let go of before the 8 seconds are up, the cursor will start filling back up at double speed without triggering the cooldown. Made further changes to help with the game's availability in Germany.

Fire & Steel v1.2.3 - Changelog Attempted to fix an issue with the "Veganism" and "A Balanced Diet" achievements not properly being given. Due to the nature of achievements this fix is hard to test, so feedback is welcome. Changed the description of the "A Balanced Diet" achievement to reflect the number of different creatures you can eat. For reference, the required creatures are Cow, Sheep, Goat, Pig, Seabass, Shark, Seagull, Eagle, and Human.

UI Added color to the controls text within the settings screen to distinguish the controls from their descriptions. Fixes Fixed an issue where loading the first level and leaving caused the Resume button on the main menu to be greyed out. Fixed a mixup between the names of level 10 and 12. Fixed a button deselect issue with the volume reset confirmation prompt. Adjusted the alignment of several text boxes to allow for localization.

Fire & Steel v1.1.1 - Changelog Accessibility Made further changes to help make Fire & Steel available in Germany as well. An objective title is displayed on level beginnings to help give direction. After a minute of having not ever used Dragon Sense in levels 2 or 3, a text appears reminding the user of this feature. Gameplay Instead of leading to the furthest unlocked level ending at level 12, the "Resume" button will now lead to the last level you loaded, or if you have won, the level after that. Normal difficulty is now ever so slightly harder.
