  Update notes for 1.06 Bug Fixes Fixed a bug which would cause the movement penalty for firing while backpedaling to not correctly apply in some situations Raytraced Shadow Denoiser is now disabled by default, as it could cause intermittent light flickering when Raytracing was enabled - it can be optionally re-enabled in the Graphics settings. • Steam Next Fest - Demo Updated! - 24 February 2025

  Hey folks, the demo for Zombieville USA 3D has been live for a couple weeks now. I really appreciate that so many of you have checked it out and given your feedback, and helped track down a couple bugs. Steam Next Fest begins Feb 24th, and the Zombieville demo will be participating. To celebrate, I've added a couple small features to the demo: Two additional characters are playable in the demo - the Goth, and the Chef! A new weapon has been added to the game - Med Kits! These occupy one of your weapon slots, and can be used on demand for a bit of healing. Like other weapons, they can be found randomly in the city or purchased from the armory. If you've already checked out the demo, give it another spin during Next Fest and try out these new features. And of course, I hope you'll pick up the full version on March 7th!

• Demo now available! - 7 February 2025

  Hey folks, Zombieville USA 3D is just one month away, and to prepare for launch we're releasing the demo starting today, Feb 7th! The demo should give you a good sense of the full experience, though the majority of unlockable content (weapons, upgrades, and characters) is restricted. That said, one BIG feature is included - multiplayer! Private and public lobbies can be made for up to 3 players, so definitely enlist a friend or two to try it out. Have fun, and of course if you run into any issues let us know. We're still actively hunting down any remaining problems before launch, and if you encounter any, the best place to report them is via email, or ping us on one of our socials.

• Zombieville USA 3D Releases March 7th! - 10 January 2025

  I'm excited to report that Zombieville USA 3D is officially launching March 7th, 2025! I announced this project over 3 years ago, and its definitely been a bit of a winding road to get to this point. A couple day jobs and an engine change may have slowed things down, but in just a few more weeks the wait will be over. I've worked on a lot of games, both indie and triple-A, and I can say with confidence this is my best work yet. I hope you'll enjoy it! Can't wait until March? Well, you won't have to! A demo will also be available during Steam Next Fest, starting February 24th! It should give you a good taste of the full game. Please enjoy this new trailer to celebrate!
