• Update 1.1.1 LIVE NOW! - 29 January 2023

  This is a small update with a HUGE quality of life improvement for those who start doing more extensive creation with Robo Maestro: sorting and filtering the list of loops! Here's what's in this update: In the drop down to select a loop you now get additional options. Note that these ONLY appear when there are at least 20 loops. These are the filtering options: Sort by name, by name (descending), by recently opened and by recently created. Option to filter loops by typing in text (only loops with that text in the name are shown). Option to hide all loops starting with "Unnamed". Option to hide all loops starting with "Maestro Autosave". Fixed a bug that made it possible to rename a loop to a name that was already in use, after which one of the loops wasn't selectable anymore until the game was restarted. Enjoy!   It's only been a week, and here's update 1.1 already! Bringing a nice set of new musical capabilities and polish, all for free! Here's the complete changelist: Added 7 new bass instruments, mostly synth basses: Bass Guitar 2 DX1 Sub Bass Synth 2 Synth 3 Synth 4 Synth 5 Added two new actions to Maestro Mode: Synth Basses Synth Bass Craze Added a new opening to Maestro Mode: Synth Fest Added a button to delete Loops. Added a button to the menu that shows that you can use your Robo Maestro creations any way you like, including commercially (this was already on the Steam store page, but apparently many people didn't notice it there). Fixed that in the Song Editor the playhead would be covered by the scrollbar if the song was long enough to need a scrollbar. Increased the chance of getting an Evolve Melody action in Maestro Mode. The menu now shows the version number.

  It's awesome to see Robo Maestro being used in the wild! Thanks, everyone who writes a review, shares a song online, reports bugs, gives suggestions or just has a good time with Robo Maestro! I'm making this for the fun of it, and nothing brings more fun than knowing others are enjoying my little procedural generator. I saw some questions from people asking whether I have a Patreon or whether they can buy DLC to support me or something like that. I don't, but there's a different way of supporting me: marketing! You could write a review on Steam, share your creations on socials or tell your friends about Robo Maestro. That's the kind of thing that would really help me right now, so if you feel like it: please do! So, now that it's live, let's have a quick look at what's coming. • Robo Maestro OUT NOW! - 20 January 2023

  The full version of Robo Maestro has released and it's FREE! Compared to the demo version, you now have the exporter (to WAV, MIDI and text), the song editor, new choir instruments and a bunch of tweaks and fixes. Enjoy! I'd love to hear your creations! If you share them on Twitter, be sure to mention me with @JoostDevBlog and I'll retweet your musics! And some nice news: I've got some extra content cooking that will release in the coming period as free updates! And just to remind you: any music you create with Robo Maestro is YOURS to do with whatever as you please!   I've just released an update for the Robo Maestro demo! Changes are: -Improved lighting, shadows and reflections (if this gives performance problems, you can dial down the graphics quality in the settings menu) -Camera now moves smoothly between modes -Chiptune music now has a fun little visual with pixel guys dancing on the robot's shoulders -Fixed that Discord link didn't work
