  • New trailer: Watch the community play Den of Wolves - 4 December 2025

It’s been two years since we revealed Den of Wolves to the public, and one year since the first gameplay trailer, and a lot of you are saying “where’s the game?”. And trust us, it would be awesome to communicate a release date but we are not there yet. - I’ve been begging management to give us a release window for Den of Wolves in the trailer – but no. They won’t budge. These developers really don’t want to make promises they can’t keep for the sake of marketing. It makes my job harder, but as a gamer myself, I respect it. I told them we at least need to prove that the game exists, and that was the starting point for this trailer, says Robin Björkell, our Communications Director So we invited four hardcore GTFO players, a group that holds most of the speedrunning records in the game, to play an early version of Den of Wolves. The trailer you see below is their unscripted experience. Gam…

  • New trailer and song release - 20 August 2025

This week, all gaming retinas are focused on Cologne and Gamescom, and Den of Wolves was highlighted in two showcases – The Future Games Show and The Level Infinite Showcase.. In the clip from Level Infinite, you hear directly from Ulf Andersson and Simon Viklund about our focus on immersion, avoiding elements that remind players "this is just a game," and drawing inspiration from films like Inception and The Matrix for alternate reality concepts. In addition to that, The Future Games Show trailer shows you additional gameplay. To top it off, Simon Viklund released the full song featured in the trailer - “Logic Bomb” is out now on all streaming platforms.

  • New song drop from Simon Viklund - 23 June 2025

On Midsomer's Eve, when Swedes usually dance around the flower-clad maypole to songs like "The Little Frogs" - Simon Viklund released a new song from the Den of Wolves soundtrack. You heard glimpses of it in our latest trailer, shown at the PC Gaming Show, and now you can listen to it in full on your preferred streaming service.Simon Viklund describes the song like this:— Like the two previous Den of Wolves tracks we've released, "Warped Morals" is a showcase of the soundtrack's focus on hypnotic rhythms and aggressive, pulse-raising synth sounds. I especially like how the drums start off sort of stuttering, like they're stumbling forward, making the groove somewhat elusive and hard to truly "dig." Then, 49 seconds in, the snare gets into a more predictable beat and suddenly it all comes together in an infectious groove. Also, look out for the double tempo in the second drop!Listen to W…

  • Fresh hands-on impressions and interviews with Ulf Andersson and Simon Viklund - 9 May 2025

With our strong background in the heist genre we wanted to know what other veterans had to say about Den of Wolves at this early stage. We invited seasoned bank robbers, some of them with a career dating back to our first venture into the criminal world, to both play a pre-alpha build but also interview our Creative Director Ulf Andersson and Audio Director/composer Simon Viklund. The result: two days of vault drilling, bag carrying and guns blasting - enjoy their impressions and interview videos below. • Announcing Do The Game - 9 April 2025

Making games is hard and we want to invite you to a unique look behind the scenes of modern day game development in our upcoming docu-reality series Do The Game. "With our previous success of GTFO and now working on a major title like Den of Wolves, it might seem glamorous," says Oscar J-T Holm, Co-Founder at 10 Chambers. "However, growing a company while building a game can be incredibly stressful and create tension even between longtime friends. Through this Docu-Reality series, we aim to provide a brutally honest look behind the scenes of all this." Watch the teaser and head over to the official website and signup to know more.

  • The next shooter from the GTFO crew will have microtransactions, but no lootboxes, "math-fuckery" or "buckazoids" - 3 April 2025

In every round of GTFO , you’re dragged gasping from a cryo-coffin and dropped into the bowels of an enormous laboratory by a horrible pincer-crane. Reaching your appointed floor, you’re asked to hack terminals and reach waypoints while trying not to rouse a sleeping population of mutants. It’s a terrible fate, but as your turrets run out of bullets and the bipedal lampreys overwhelm your friends, you can take consolation in the knowledge that there are no microtransactions - for when 10 Chambers launched the early access version in 2019, they promised to release all DLC for free. “There but for the grace of God go I,” you can say, thinking with a shudder of games like Overwatch , while the Shadows tear your head from your body. No such consolation awaits players of 10 Chambers’ forthcoming Den of Wolves , a cyberpunk co-op heist shooter in the tradition of Payday 2 . Accord…

  • The first hands-on impressions of Den of Wolves are out - 2 April 2025

During the last couple of weeks, we had the pleasure to invite gaming media from around the world to try an early, pre-alpha version of Den of Wolves and the previews and interviews with Simon Viklund and Ulf Andersson are now out. You’ll find a selection below but with over 130+ attending journalists, you’ll most likely find something on your favorite sites and local language. PC Gamer “Making our way through that prep mission without needing to be fully switched on was a breath of fresh air, because when the bullets really start flying, Den of Wolves feels like the spiritual successor to Payday it's been billing itself as.” >> Read more TheGamer "With Den of Wolves having such an exciting setting, I asked Viklund if there was any chance we’d get a game from 10 Chambers set in the Midway Atoll, but more akin to a narrative RPG like Cyberpunk 2077. His answer was succinct. “We don't kno…

  • Den of Wolves Hands-On Preview – Planning is Everything - 1 April 2025

When The Game Awards 2024 revealed the next heist title, Den of Wolves , I admit I was impressed. A technopunk-infused heist title that propels the player and crew forward to finish an objective, set to a backdrop of techno beats and higher-than-ever stakes. When 10 Chambers was recruiting operatives for an opportunity to get behind the lens of a Midway City criminal-for-hire and check out what’s behind the curtain in Den of Wolves , I answered the call. Den of Wolves brings first-person heist shooters into 2025 with innovation, PvE glory, high-risk, high-reward objectives, and a “Dive” system separating this Den from the pack. Den of Wolves takes place in the dystopian Midway City. This island is built on the Pacific Ocean, and this is where the player is inserted as a criminal mercenary-for-hire. Midway City is an unregulated innovation zone created to combat a global data security th…

  • Animating Humans, Drills and Robots - 20 February 2025

In this new video, Animation Director Alexander Damm shares insights from the development of Den of Wolves. His experience spans from early days at Grin to working at award-winning VFX studio Framestore and Avalanche Studios. He walks us through the precision and planning required to capture authentic movement for Midway City's operatives, especially when you head into motion capture sessions. “The quality of mocap is better now than it was 20 years ago. But you still need to tweak that motion in the same way as before," Alexander explains, highlighting the balance between technological advancement and artistic refinement. While modern capture technology provides the team with pristine data, it's the methodical post-processing and animation expertise transforms raw movement into impactful motion in the game.

  • New soundtrack drop - 20 December 2024

Already a week has passed since we showed the very first gameplay from Den of Wolves during this year’s The Game Awards. We've got many comments regarding the song used for the trailer, and it is indeed a new track from Simon Viklund — you can listen to the full version on your music streaming service now. For us The Game Awards 2024 wasn't just about the gameplay reveal though. As attendees left the venue, 1100 drones lit up the Los Angeles night, recreating moments from the Den of Wolves trailer.

  • Watch the first gameplay reveal - 13 December 2024

    "Gameplay when?" Now.

  • Get a glimpse of the tech behind Den of Wolves - 19 September 2024

After we announced Den of Wolves last December, we’ve been busy building the techno-thriller heist game of our twisted dreams. While we are not ready to show any extensive gameplay yet, we can give you a glimpse into the game's visuals, running the latest version of Unity. It's recorded from a work-in-progress warehouse level, one of numerous environments in the game, and features a first, very early look at one of the enemy types you'll encounter. This was part of a presentation during Unity's developer conference, where studios from all over the world meet and discuss the technical aspect of making games. As with all game development, things are subject to change (or even be scrapped) but we wanted to share this sneak peek behind the scenes.

  • Meet us at Gamescom - 16 August 2024

Gamescom, where hundreds of thousands of gaming enthusiasts meet to experience the latest and greatest in gaming, starts in less than one week. • Simon Viklund making Den of Wolves sound badass - 28 May 2024

What’s extremely important while carrying out heists? That it sounds badass while doing it. To ensure that for Den of Wolves, we have Simon Viklund, known for his music for Payday: The Heist and PAYDAY 2, as a composer – but he’ll also bring in some help from others. We just released a mini-documentary where Simon Viklund discusses his music for Den of Wolves and his collaboration with Jamie Christopherson (Metal Gear Rising) and Greg Ellis (Argo, Transformers, Godzilla) – everything to make the tunes to your heisting as heavy as possible. You want more? Good, because we’ve decided not to let you wait until the game releases to hear the long version of the banger – INJECT - at the end of the Den of Wolves trailer. It is now live on all major music streaming platforms; find yours here: https://simonviklund.hearnow.com/inject YOU WANT MORE? Okay. We also made a music video for the track w…

  • The evolution of masks in Den of Wolves - 7 May 2024

The oldest human-made masks ever found date back 9 000 years, supposedly worn by early farmers in ancestral rituals. From then on, humans have sculpted masks for various occasions and reasons. Theater, protection from projectiles or to hide your identity – which is why masks have been integral to the heist genre from the start. And in this new video our creative leads discuss their legacy and the evolution of masks in Den of Wolves. A sometimes ruthless process. If you haven't already, please add Den of Wolves to your wishlists.
